  1. For Sale: 2010 Slingshot Octane 13m complete kite (no pump). This kite has seen probably 2 seasons of action since I bought it new in May 2011, and has since been sitting in it's bag in the garage. The canopy is still reasonably crispy, the bridle has very little wear, there is some wear and tear on the dacron/leading edge as can be expected, but aside from that it is in very good condition. Bar & lines are in great condition (no centre line wear yet). All strut valves still work great and the stopper valve is in perfect condition. It still flys very well, has great low end and plenty of boost. Wind range (I am 75kg on a 134) was anywhere between 13-14kts right up to 19-20kts. Perfect for the days when the wind isnt great but you just want to get out. It is in very good condition, it does have one canopy repair (as shown in photos) down the seam line on the right hand side of the canopy. The leading edge was not affected, canopy only. This was professionally repaired and reinforced by BrisKites in QLD. $350 ONO. Reason for sale is I need to make some room for new kites! Pickup from Paradise Point, QLD. Happy to ship anywhere at buyers expense. Questions please call/txt 0449 648 126. Sam
  2. Bump, I'll do it for $350 flat.
  3. Personally I would be at home drinking beer if it was 6 knots. The 10m is a much safer size in instances where the wind picks up or there is a squall. I would be scared in anything over 15kts with a 12m foil, the bar throw is too short. Especially in the snow.

  7. Just live in brisbane, somewhere close to Sandgate. At least you will have a better chance finding work and it will pay better too.

  9. Travel through green light = 5pts Continuous roll from red into green light = 10pts Punch (put your foot down) through orange/red light = 30pts Punch through red light with red light camera at intersection and no fine = 100pts Punch through red light with red light camera at intersection and cop fine = -50pts Merge into empty lane whilst current lane stopped at red light, then light goes green = 20pts Merge out of lane to pass traffic, then back in to green light = 20pts Pass continuously through 3 or more intersections with green lights = 20pts Travel up to green light but changes to red = -10pts
  10. If you HAVE to go for LF, I'd go the Envy as the Havoc is a dog. Slow turning and generally hideous in my opinoin. Plenty of other better kite brands out there.... Horses for courses I spose.
  11. I think it is 2006, with a 2009 chicken loop Dont let age sway you - kite, bar and lines are still in very good condition.
  12. Bumpity - for all you keen snowkiters, make me an offer for the 2011 season,
