I'm using my Frenzy FYX in 9m2 and I'm very happy with it. For me it covers a good wind range, it's a stable Depower foil and processed in really good quality.
You can fly it like grandma, but you can also let it bite your ass It has a tight radius, good turning speed and acceptable Depower.

The lines are 3 from bar and splitting to 4 at the kite (2x 25m 300kg; 1x 500kg SK75 colour coded Dyneema lines). The Bar has easy and fast reload safety systems, which let me feel more comfortable with than f.e. the flexifoil one does. But I guess that's finally a question of taste.
I tried a mystic waist harness when I started, but ended up with the ozone xc harness (spreader-bar & hook), because it can't raise up and feels a lot more comfortable to me. I know, for boys this harness can be a little bit uncomfortable, but that's again a matter of taste
Finally my board: Some people call it the "IKEA-Board"
It's the Scrub Karakorum, and my first mountainboard. Well, it's a really heavy thing (~ 10 kg) and if I'm getting better in landboarding one day, i will replace the original wooden deck with a trampa one. I wouldn't buy it again, because it's although stable but simply a tank and too rigid for me. But for now, I'm ok with it, as I haven't started jumping and doin' tricks yet.
For sure, I'm one of the kiting greenhorns in here, but I hope I could contribute to your question in a certain fashion.
