    Next Kite?

I'll try my best Jack Can't provide a review of the former Ozone kites as I haven't flown them yet (Samurai, Riot etc), but there are many users in here who own one, and I'm sure they'll answer your questions. The quality of Ozone is indisputable, so maybe you can grab a bargain on a former model of the ones I suggested. Steady Winds, Blue Skies and Happy Landings! http://www.bilderhoster.at/upload/shnbh1262798232.gif p.s.: I'm not working for Ozone, but if I got the chance, of course I would

    Next Kite?

Fixed Bridle with lots of stability and pull in low winds? Ozone FLOW 5.0 Ozone CULT 6.5 Fixed Bridle with lots of stability, great pull, nice hangtime and much lift in a little higher winds? Ozone HAKA 5.0 Fixed Bridle with stability and pull in ultra light winds - enough pull but not so much lift? Ozone YAKUZA 8.6 or 10.0 Stable Depower foil for medium winds with good pull and lift/hangtime? Ozone FRENZY FYX 9.0 Stable Depower foil for medium winds with pull and much lift/better hangtime? Ozone MANTA 09 12.0 Stable and easy to handle (beginners) Depower foil for (all) any winds? Ozone ACCESS XC 4.0 Please note: All answers above are given by an hopelessly ozone addicted person and have also been flown by the same one So try to test as much kites as u can before u finally buy one - that's a safe way to find out what's your personal favourite.
  4. HAKA 5.0 arrived yesterday. Was tested immediately and conjured up a big smile on our faces Pulls hard and lifts like an elevator, but stays stable all the time. Thats the way we like it. Thanks to Chris and the Surface Tension Crew for the smooth transaction! http://www.bilderhoster.at/upload/shnbh1262798232.gif
  5. Bump for a good foil.

  9. Ozone Kites have serial numbers, and I register all my gear on their website. The serial numbers are written down on each kite, like on the photo below. Maybe this would be a good place for your personal mark too. Doesn't bother when you sell it one day as used one. Permanent Markers are not a bad choice, they don't get destroyed by sun, sand, water or snow... p.s.: don't forget to mark your bags or rucksacks http://www.bilderhoster.at/upload/yvbwh1261404360.jpg http://www.bilderhoster.at/upload/pfvpn1261404316.jpg
  10. My first handmade Stick by Steve has arrived yesterday, and it's awesome I simply love it. From now on I've to keep an eye on this special piece, as groundsticks sometimes disappear in our kiting area I just can recommend Steve's work to all the people out there... grab one as long as he is offering them! 11. I'm using my Frenzy FYX in 9m2 and I'm very happy with it. For me it covers a good wind range, it's a stable Depower foil and processed in really good quality. You can fly it like grandma, but you can also let it bite your ass It has a tight radius, good turning speed and acceptable Depower. http://www.bilderhoster.at/upload/lxbdi1260793224.jpg http://www.bilderhoster.at/upload/ksybo1260793127.jpg http://www.bilderhoster.at/upload/wrbvw1260793254.jpg The lines are 3 from bar and splitting to 4 at the kite (2x 25m 300kg; 1x 500kg SK75 colour coded Dyneema lines). The Bar has easy and fast reload safety systems, which let me feel more comfortable with than f.e. the flexifoil one does. But I guess that's finally a question of taste. I tried a mystic waist harness when I started, but ended up with the ozone xc harness (spreader-bar & hook), because it can't raise up and feels a lot more comfortable to me. I know, for boys this harness can be a little bit uncomfortable, but that's again a matter of taste Finally my board: Some people call it the "IKEA-Board" It's the Scrub Karakorum, and my first mountainboard. Well, it's a really heavy thing (~ 10 kg) and if I'm getting better in landboarding one day, i will replace the original wooden deck with a trampa one. I wouldn't buy it again, because it's although stable but simply a tank and too rigid for me. But for now, I'm ok with it, as I haven't started jumping and doin' tricks yet. For sure, I'm one of the kiting greenhorns in here, but I hope I could contribute to your question in a certain fashion.
  12. I'm wearing the ozone xc harness too (with spreader bar and hook) it's really comfortable and can't rise up. not the fastest to put on/off, but perfect for riding on snow or land.
  13. Have a good christmas time everybody! Enjoy it, no matter where and no matter how VIDEO: watch santa here
  14. Can't wait to be the first girl with the hippest groundstick in town Thanks for the absolut fast and smoothly transaction!
  15. Well kimy, i have to contradict. talking about safety can never be or get stupid. Hopefully you'll never have to watch it when somebody is getting really bad hurt, because of less or wrong safety in sports... As a member of an extremesports club, I know that there will always be a residual risk in every activity, but safety equipment always reduces the final "damage". That's what it is made for. So just use it. LINK
  16. yeah, that's true cause I'm wearing one too it's a tripple eight brainsaver one if anyone is interested LINK: Triple 8: Snow and Skate Protective Gear NYC
