Just spent the last hour jamming on my Les Paul, nothing heavy just some reflective blues. Its a small gesture but my way of saying thanks for all he has done. I feel a song coming on........
I would almost look at Blockhus or Loken in the North. Miles and miles of golden beach and plenty of wind. If you go in the off season from end of August you will have much of it to yourself.
There is no real tide there either so the beach is always open. Plenty of places to stay from Campsites to Hotels.
Man its like having a ciggarete with no lighter, a horrible situation.
I am deeply jealous, seriously looking at a 12m but I would have to sell my soul to the devil
My vote would be an arc as I am hooked on them by now. Obviously never tried a charger but I have Guerillas and scorpions and looking seriously at getting the charger in the next couple of months.
To form a argument I would use the following points:
When you wipe out the kite is sat at the zenith above you
lots of lovely lift & float
I can take it into the water to cool off on sunny days and body drag
I could also use it in the water with a board (I cant though as I am crap)
It eats gusts for breakfast
Its predictale
My first tip is to try and reduce your reliance on tabs. Guitar solos are all about feeling so use the tab as a guide and let your fingers do the work.
Other tips are:
Slow down the original and really listen hard to all neuences
Replay the solo using a looper so it is stuck in your brain and try and follow along but you really have to feel what is behind the solo
Hire an electric kango and attack it with a chiesel attachment. Bits will fall so pad out with blankets to prevent damage to the floor. Start in the middle of the big arch and work sideways top to bottom.
