    harnesses

want to buy a new harness but unsure what is best I bought some hopeless piece of shit with a quadrafoil logo on it a few weeks ago but have given up on this as its utterly hopeless.. tried to upgrade it with a pl hinged roller spreader but the thing is just hoplessly uncomfortable and cuts you up whenever the spreader is loaded up my question is this want a comfortable harness specifically for buggying but not something thats too big and padded (like my windsurfing saet harness) as all the extra padding and particularly buckles and tension clamps on the back and sides really gets in the way and limits your movement powerkite shop seem to reckon that the mystic aviator with a roller spreader is the dogs bollocks but before i part with my cash dont want to buy another lemon any suggestions:(
  4. anyone know of any restrictions on wisley/ripley airfied or do people just go up there and take a chance with it and have a buggy sesh? is the whole strip owned by the farmer do you get kicked off via a tractor and shotgun...?
  5. so what you are saying is to basically put all your bodyweight out to the downwind side of the buggy and twich the front wheel momentarilly upwind to lift the bug up... is that right .. do you know of any video clips on the web shot from a tuition point of view that i could look at ta
  6. yeah... have been trying to master the old 2 wheels shenanigans (somert like that..) with mixed success ...after a bit of tech help please muchas gracias... also what is the best gps for buggying needs anyone?
  7. Right starting to get the picture thanks for the advice so to begin with then use my seat harness and maybe upgrade it a little with a roller spreader? and until ive completely ditched kk s forget out the climbing system all together also does it make sense to cover your strop in some form of tubing or will this just stop it running?

    Blurr

I ve been waiting 3 weeks for a hulk 7m bluur from powerkite shop what the f*** is going on how can they list these for sale if they dont have any in the country f******** ridiculous wouldnt mind but have sold my 6m rage to fund the new one.....duuuuuuur
  9. Im working in morooco at the moment its really windy out here every afternoon any one know of any buggy ex pats out here been doing a bit of wavesailing at Essouria blows its nuts off every late afternoon out the last couple of days on a 4m with a 255 wave board 25 knts and 3m swells........awesome
  10. so is 2673 a standard code no for a particlar type of climbing QR
  11. and if i want to get a wichard qr swivel and pulley arrangement anyone know of where to get this stuff preferrably via the internet....do powerkiteshop or similair sell these bits oh and by the way i am presently working in morocco on a film and have spent the last couple of weekends at Essouria ( spelling ? who knows) have had some quality windsurfing....... it seemingly blows its knobs off every late afternoon out on 4m wave sails on a 255 wave board fantastic wave sailing on 3m swells there is a serious bit of desert round there as well saw some fantastic buggy spots but no sign of buggy action...... still bit risky with all the scorpions and snakes i spose really wished i had managed to bring my bug out anyone know of any buggy nuts in morocco:)
  12. yeah top advice from all you blokes nice one..... things i am still unclear about: 1 as a novice harness user am I best of sticking to a roller spreader bar and ignoring the discomfort of the thing cutting into my fat gut..... 2 with a climbing harness the comfy option you are telling me the only way to make the connection is with the wichard QR and pulley block etc is this dangerous for me as a novice or safer than being on a simple spreader bar 3 or is the potential problem that if using a spreader bar and simple strop arrangement if I get hugely overpowered and shoot off downwind totally out of control i cant get the strop out of the hook because of the pressure on the line? thus thats where the qr comes in and to deploy what do you do presumably yank the toggle?
  13. ok what exactly is a wytchard and block set up and are those minimal looking quadrafoil harnesses worth bothering with ..cos they look like they would cut you to bits...
  14. so forgive my ignorance but what is a wychard and so do you have a strop line dedicated to each kite handle set up or do you have just the one with pre set length adjustments
  15. have a standard flexi buggy use to riding reasonably fast kites ranging from 2.5 to 7.0 have been using my windsurfing dakine seat harness
