i usually ride suicide so just drop it and hit my secondary.. or leash into my 5th line real quick. (LF bar) on the starkites bar it's pretty clean, it allows a suicide attachment with flagout form the QR. no complaints with it, its actually really well designed. I'll always fire my safety before going out in a storm just to make sure it's clean and ready to go.

surefire fits the bill. it's in the same place all the time and easy to learn the muscle memory. I dont use it but one of my kite buddies does and swears by it.

Dunno about you guys but I always launch on full power... IMO, it's the only way to have full control of the kite.

happened to me on saturday in 50mph winds which meant a nice lively deep water packdown.. Should have been riding suicide not in flagout mode. :-/ #kitemare

Yeah really, he's not even half kite line high. Thats a jump not a boost. No, i dont really have any decent/recent ones not that it matters as this isn't about me.

Probably only helps if you're overpowered as it'll help you lock your board in the water if you're getting yanked off your edge.

roll onto your stomach and then weave your kite (fig 8) above your head enough that it pulls you out of the water. (Only works if you have enough power), tense stomach and point downwnd and ride away like a champ!

could also trim it a little with the depower but deffo make sure its pumped till it pings.

Always used direct travel or dogtag as above. Found direct travel to generally be cheaper. Cheap Travel Insurance & Holiday Insurance | Direct Travel I suggest you call them and discuss your watersports cover and gear cover and get them to quote accordingly..

I used to think everyone had to wear shorts, now i just rock up to the beach and kite.. couldn't care what people are wearing or saying about what I am or am not wearing. Wear a board leash or a gojoe for all i care.

I used to always wear shorts but they dont really offer much protection to your wetsuit, its another thing to wash/dry and they are expensive. So i dont bother now.
