  1. Like to know what's a good cheaper sport camera to the Go Pro
  2. Oy, I'm from Yorkshire, ...and that made me laff owt loud. Nice, uz Leeds lot an them Brah-ford lot always take the mikki, ya don't need a passport to get into Leeds tha knows .
  3. Mainly used in parks and grass with the odd occasion to the west coast beaches but kept clean and looked after. ( how do i post pictures from my phone ? ) There are photos on 'kites buggies forsale/wanted' on FB £250
  4. I'm interested in the 8.5m please. (I Will text you back at a reasonable hour)
  5. So what's the price on the 8.5 Blade ? How much is the FF bug going for ?
  6. I had the set of Hornets when they first came out and loved them. They were great for buggy and board on the beach or in a gutsy park surrounded by trees. Like you I liked to loop the kite to keep the power going and get that extra out of it. I would rather loop a smaller kite then be over powered with a bigger kite on the limit. The Hornets like to be flown Hard and they give back what they get. They are smooth and fly right to the edge of the window and more and still keep pulling. They are not a powerful race kite but they are a good all rounder. They are not a jumping kite like a Blade but in the right winds you can jump with them. Only reason I got rid of mine was That my tennis elbow problem eased off and I was able to return to depower again and so reduce the amount of kites in my quiver, down to three instead of 7 kites. I didn't have the 5m as I already had a 5m Ace. The 8m was the better for low winds than the 6m . I had the 1st generation Hornets which did the 8m then . Can't say anything on the latest ones though.
  7. Nice vid : )
  8. wow, some excellent bargains there Red !
  9. Thanks for the info. If it's a difficult spot, Where would you say would be a realy good place to learn in west Europe . I have done at least 40 years of annual holidaying in Swanage, Dorset and have seen the scene change in the Pool harbour side of Sandbanks from sail boats to wind surfing to now Kite surfing as we have driven through. The Pool harbour side of Sandbanks has always looked shallow and nice to kite surf but I never bothered, but the set up area looked tiny. Maybe I might avoid even going near Medano, and so won't be bothered if I don't kite surf if I don't see any. Might move down a couple of spaces on my bucket list.
  10. Having been power kiting for 15years, on board and in buggy, I have never bothered getting onto the water. I fly depower foils and have owned the odd LEI now and then ( Wipka Airblast and Liquid Force) but now am happy with depower foils, my most modern one was a 2012 Ozone. Anyway, I will be at Tenerife in Sept/Oct near El Medano and might have a go this time (depending on if I can squeeze some €s out of my wifey). Which place do you recommend I should go with for lessons ( I'm on a low budget ) and having got a fair bit of kiting experience, which lesson should I start with.
  11. Normally just use a two line bar with leash to one line.
  12. I still fly my NPW9 5.3m on padded straps for a trip down memory lane and it feels good .getting back to the bare roots again. Good arm workout, and the safety is just let go of one line. ( of course not for water use unless an excelent swimmer)
  13. I'll have it. Pm sent
