    Hey, I used to fly Lei's a few years ago for kitesurfing and liked the feel of the kites. I now only landboard, by myself, and wonder if there would be an LEI that is designed to be used on land, and would be able to be launched / landed by myself ? Any ideas ?????

    I would like to use LEI kites to landboard with, but is it possible to do the whole self launch / landing thing safely by yourself. Is it just a case of having a weighted bag to hold down an edge for take off ???? cheers.

    Am thinking of buying a Slingshot Diesel 2005 9m , with the Auto pilot feature. Would this make a good option to use for both kitesurfing and kiteboarding ??? I am told that the auto pilot makes it able to be launched and landed on land, snow and water ??? What do you think:confused:

    Cheers, have been down to Mudeford and along at Steamer Point which both have cleaner winds but are really small areas of grass with loads of public. NEEEEEEEEEEEED a beach !!!!

    I live in the New Forest and am wanting to find a good beach to fly on on the south coast , rather than flying on lumpy winded fields. I landboard with an Air Evo 10m:D Any ideas that aren't a days drive away ? cheers

    Took all the skin of my right calf about two weeks ago sliding along at Lordshill, Southampton. Remembered my knee pads next time, so it made sense that I slid on my left elbow removing all the skin yesterday in ridiculously gusty wind. (Yes my elbow pads were in the car !!!!!!) Sharing skin is the way forward !!! :D

    Nice Vid. Felt the pain of the board off. Out with the kite today, first time any wind for ages, and skinned my right leg. All in the name of progress. Plaster on. Back out tomorrow. :D
