  1. Guys kiteboarding at those speeds can have detrimental effects on your body if you screw up or are misfortunate enough to have something fail. I remember hitting just over 82km/h and my knees felt like they were going to shatter. Good thing he was on flat water, then you just need to ask how deep it is because if you come off wrong you can either skim over the top or you go into the water like a torpedo. Top effort either way, but just trying to deter people without ideal conditions to attempt these stunts.
  2. Chappy is this a definite go ahead for this weekend ? How far is Sturt to Milang ?
  3. Then it will go back to spoon feeding the masses with over inflated prices and second grade equipment. Cardboards make some good boards and after riding a few they feel nice under the feet. The only thing I don't like is their bindings which I found with more use became to soft allowing my foot to pivot on the board instead of keeping my toes pointed to the edge. This wasn't something I noticed on the demos, but after buying one and using it for a season the bindings really soften up quite considerably. With the new boards the bindings are noticeably stiffer and seem better construction.

    JN kites

G'day Nato at the moment i'm not using a JN bar but waiting on a replacement to arrive, but I do like the Evolution. Between the new school and Evolution there isn't a huge amount of difference. Left my bar out on the bonnet of my car two weeks ago then walked back down to the beach to grab the rest of the gear and it was gone along with my sunnies. Flying on a PDII but also managed to get my hands on an old well used Wild Thing only two weeks ago.
  5. Thank you for the welcome feel much at home in mamma's house now. Anyone here attend the titles ?

    JN kites

Please don't flatter yourself in your own gross exaggeration of dominance, it is a distant mile (pun) from pimping. You have displayed complete unprofessionalism on your part by your remarks towards JN and Tino. I have no business venture and work happily here in SA privately. Make yourself an appearance here at Easter and I will be more then happy to introduce myself and give you a fly of a real JN kite, not the fairy tale stuff you talk about above.
  7. You will be fine in feb but will need to start to don the wetsuit towards the end of march.
  8. Really nice information koma. I haven't flown the alliance but did get to try the cult on a one off and found it was nice but not radically different to other kites. I much preferred the helix more then the cult but will have to try an alliance next. How does it compare to a helix?
  9. hello from SA! Been reading a while and signed after reading about various mistruths on the forum with jn kites. Always looking for people from SA to go kiting with, originally i'm from QLD however work has me here in SA for the foreseeable future. Traded jellyfish for sharks.

    JN kites

1st post. Aside from your rhetorical pimping throughout the online world, jn kites from their inception have been nothing short of the highest quality kites on the market. So in 2004 you took to distribute best over jn, that says a lot about your judgement. I have been riding jn for three seasons and have not had a single failure on my kites. It would be nice to see you stop spreading mistruths about products you simply dont sell or are uninformed on.
