    07 fuels

I got the 11m 05 fuel. Depower on it is immense and also super stable, not rli much float unless really blowing though. Really nice and easy to fly though, I been wave riding with it today.
  14. Yes, yes u do. And that is blatantly copied from wikipedia. MUAHAHAHAA!
  15. After a week and a half of waiting the wind finally came. Not loads, just 15mph, but plenty to have a sweet session on the 20m rhino. Waveriding is absolutely awesome, though not massive waves here atm. Some pics are on my myspace. Check it out http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=72507616 Thanks
  16. The only ones available are wooden because I'm in France with no surf shop near to get a foam one. Plus i'm not going to fork out the ridiculous prices that nobile charge. I'd rather just sit on the beach. The point is I need a quick solution.
  17. Shouldn't this thread be called, That Little Ohhh Bugger?
  18. Because the Gibson is 2 grand! I dont think £500 is too cheap for a 3rd guitar really. Unless youve got more money than sense. ..and check out the Epi John Lennon Casino's, or the John Lee Hooker versions, £2300 cheap. Epiphone are clearly rubbish then. Thats why the Beatles used them so much, and look what happened to them. Mirror - signal - manouvre. You what? The guitars that the beatles used so much were Gretsch and Rickenbacker. There were only ever 5 epiphones in the band and 3 of those were McCartneys, sums it up really. Whereas the were 15+ rickenbackers used. Mirror - signal - manouvre - crash. Seriously though, check out the old jap copies, they are much better quality than the copies of today, Epi, Squier, Vintage etc.
  19. I'm thinking about getting a skimboard to try and get some sort of session in during these light winds. The only skimboards available are wooden ones, no foam ones. I've always known wooden skimboards to sink, so how exactly do you deep water start with one? Was thinking about drilling some holes in it and attaching the footstraps from my spare board to it. Good or bad idea? Anyone else tried a skimboard? Any tips etc? Thanks

    Flexi-Pedia

This got me thinking about riddles. So I googled riddles. I clicked on the first riddle site called http://www.riddlenut.com then i clicked on the special star thats says SHOW ME THE RIDDLES! Hoorah I thought. So, Riddle 1 of 784. Oooo a riddle! Yippee. THE RIDDLE: How many letters are in the alphabet? Well here I thought to myself, now that's a tricky one, the whooole of the alphabet, thats a lot of letters, i better get counting. After a long amount of time of counting, checking and double checking I finally came to the conclusion that there are 26 letters in the alphabet. (I know, it's some pretty tricky stuff.) Now time to click the special blue button that says ANSWER PLEASE. THE ANSWER: There are 11 letters in "THE ALPHABET" Did you say 26? Why damn you http://www.riddlenut.com, for I did say 26. What a fool I am! And how intelligent you are! Now my question, Is anyone else feeling an overwhelming sense of joy from such cunning that can be found at http://www.riddlenut.com? P.S. All hate mail can be directed to lisa@net3media.com, the clever lady who created http://www.riddlenut.com.
  21. I've been having this problem, I'm out in France for a month of supposedly everyday kitesurfing, but it hasnt been over 10 yet, apart from once when it picked up to 40+ due to a storm. It's been 1 and a half weeks and this next week is forecast to pick up to a mighty 12 then drop back to 9. In the low wind I fly a 20m rhino. It's got the power to get you up in sub 10, but it just doesn't have the turning speed to keep you going. Great floaty jumps though, in very little wind. What is needed is a big, but fast lei. Manufacturers should stop developing the best depower kites and should get working on the best low wind kites. Unfortunately some of us can't afford a FS. The last time an lei manufacturer tried to tackle the low wind problem was best with the hellfish, which we all know wasn't a great success. It's been quiet since then. What is needed is something with a large projected area with as little material as possible (like a bow) but there should be more concentration on the speed of the thing rather than the depower ability. In the mean time its the frisbee.
  22. Completely off topic, but were you at aussie pink floyd couple of months ago at the bic? Could have sworn I saw you. (This question is obviously to davidge, unless any1 else was at the gig, it was superb)
  23. Now burns I do like. If you don't do cheap then why did you get an epiphone? Oh and tokai aren't cheap, they are more expensive than epiphone but still cheaper than a gibson. Some of their models are stunning, like the love rock. It's like all the japanese copies of that time (70s/80s) you could get a guitar easily as good as a gibson or fender, sometimes better. Only you paid half the price. Look for manufactureres such as Greco, Orville, Tokai and Burny if your interested.
  24. I tried strapless with my NSP 7'6 today for the first time. Was the funniest thing ever. I just couldn't get on the bugger. Waves kept on knocking it away from me too, any lil tips would be apprectiated.
  25. People like colin are legends. I got shot downwind of my board out in the sea and a current was taking it out faster than I could body drag upwind to it. A dude came out and picked it up for me, absolute legend. I fly 4 line C, but I practised relaunching my Cs in the shallows and deep and have absolutely no problems, I never got on with 5th line so don't use it. I like to keep it nice and simple, lenten style. I relaunched my yarga in less than 10mph from the beach when it was wet and sticking down to the sand. It wouldn't roll onto its back because of the light wind. Was rather chuffed. Havn't had this problem on water though. I went out into a local relatively shallow spot in around 5-10mph a couple of months ago just to practise my relaunches in light wind. Bit of an expert at them now.
