well the wind has been quite a disapointment, but i went sledding, and was thinking, hill facing the wind, run down hill with the kite? then get pulled back up hill...repeat... as soon as we get that 10mph west wind I've been hearing about I'll let you know how it goes. The sled and jump idea sounds exciting as well...

I was wondering if anyone has any neat tricks for when theres a bit of snow on the ground? other than putting some skis on. I'm hoping the weather is right and tomorrow should be the windiest day we have had in a while, and hopefully no so far into the negitives. Thanks

Just wondering if anyone has a site with it. its pretty great to use and is free. they basically let you design and create your own website. mainly for musicians, artists and photographers. have you considered the pansh ace? they just released it in 12 meter size, and it definately gets the job done in light wind. it is basically the same as the blade, but 12m

If I were you I would wait a bit, pansh is jsut comign out with another race kite(they are having a design competition endign the 14th, on panshforum.com) it looks like a much improved airlink. the legend is a good kite, but what Ive heard is that the upwind ability isn't great

i have um, lemme check., ok i dont know, but its by cingular, its like a slightly fat razor, its the phone tiger woods uses in the tv comercial. if you saw that. cracked the front screen, but other than that, indestructable

i was out yesterday, just on my 5.5 legend, it was blowing 35, and scared the sh*t outa me. got my biggest air too...at least two people high and about 100 feet down wind. into the ocean. wonder what the blade woulda done... ok, so i ordered the ace for all who dont know. and concerning the lines, i know they are cr*p but it would be "wasteful" of me to not use them, so, i will use them until they break. what do you guys thing of taking my soon to be two sets of 25m lines and tying them to make one set of 50m lines. wouldn't the longer lines help since larger aces are slow(like all large kites) so while it wouldnt be faster turning with longer lines, but it would have a ton more space to travel around in. whaddaya think?
