  1. Hi all. I have received an offer which has been accepted. Thanks for all the interest. Good luck with your search for more kites. Happy flying
  2. Toby James's Photos - Kite for sale | Facebook There's photos on my facebook page. Hope this works
  3. Hi I'm selling my Frenzy with the lines and bar attached as I need to raise money for a house. So I'm after about £80,000, but I'll take anything over £200. There's photos below, which I hope are okay. The kite was attacked by a dog a couple of years ago which was professionally repaired at The Loft Workshop, again picture attached of the repair job. I figure postage should be about £15 extra within the UK. If you want it posted overseas, pm me and I'll try to find out. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=161125&id=548316629&saved#!/photo.php?pid=4149267&id=548316629&fbid=322307356629 http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=161125&id=548316629&saved#!/photo.php?pid=4149269&id=548316629&fbid=322307401629 http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=161125&id=548316629&saved#!/photo.php?pid=4149268&id=548316629&fbid=322307391629

I've seen it on ebay, but its hasn't met the reserve yet. Any ideas what that might be?
  5. Hi My fiancee has just had a go on a Sting 2.4 and said it was great fun in around 20mph winds. Hopefully it'll mean she can advance to something a bit stronger in time. Good for a taster and those high wind days perhaps but I think something like a 2.5 Rage or Beamer will be better and get more use. I've heard the Peter Lynn Hornet 3m might be another alternative.
  6. Tell me about it. We had a proper session on saturday then we all buggered off once it got too windy. Jon went and put a foot wrong while flying his sabre out of control. When I say wrong, I mean through his kite and when I say foot I mean both feet. And by the way, the kite? His shiny 6.5m Blade IV. Ouch!!
  7. Let us know what its like out there. Any swampyness or squelchy patches or is it back to the solid ground that we love to fly on?
  8. For anyone that's still keeping an eye on this thread. I'm looking at getting out saturday afternoon if the weather holds off. Anyone care to join me?
  9. The weekend was wonderful! The first time I've had the Frenzy out in 2009, so sweet and not overpowered at all! Again, we flew at the Memorial park and had more than a few people watching. Think we might even have put the footballers off their game a little, lol. Special credit to Matt for flying his christmas present for the first time-ish. And I got to fly him a bit too, hanging off the back of the harness. More weekends like that please!
  10. I'm so envious. Are you down for the weekend? If so I'm bringing my camera!!
  11. Oooh, I'm liking that. What's the new kite then? Have you moved on from Pansh yet?
  12. Are you down for the weekend? Sunday's looking okay-ish if it isn't all swampy. I've made a couple of trips over to the War Memorial Park as the drainage is far better and it isn't too muddy. Saying that, you can't beat a bit of the home turf.
  13. I went up the common at the weekend when it was all frozen solid. There were people walking over the bomb holes instead of falling in them. Boarding was cold and if you came off all the frozen grass would really cut you up. I guess now its thawed it'll be back to being squelchy. To be fair, I've been over to the Memorial Park a couple of times and its quite promising as long as you take a wide berth around the public. They haven't really got a clue but as long as you stay away from the paths you're okay. Drainage is really good there too. The only mud comes from your own tyres carving up the grass.
  14. I'm laughing cos I can see the clouds that are headnig your way. Brum's looking real grey and nasty right now.
  15. What are the chances of a decent session over the weekend do you reckon?
