Hi,
Pretty new to landboarding, once I get going I can cruise around fine enough...upwind is no problem. HOWEVER, its the getting going where I'm having difficulties.
I stand on my board, pointing slightly downwind, then bring the kite from the zenith to approx. halfway down window in the direction I want to travel. Then I get a yank of power and begin to move, but I end up with slack lines and the kite simply luffs and falls out of the sky (due to lack of tension on lines).
What am I doing wrong, it's as if I need to accelerate more slowly, instead of getting a full-on initial yank in direction of travel.
Tips on how to combat this greatly received!!!
Thanks,
Ben
