  1. With ozone bringing out 2 high performance depowerables, The frenzy 07 and Manta chasta's pro modle looping mahcine the next few months should be interesting.
  2. Would say its better to be underpowered when learning than overpowered?! i know an experianced rider VERY similar to your weight that gets going in about 15mph and up past 30 on his 11, 2m may not sound like alot but it is Propper use of the trimmer helps alot. In light wind i will trim a couple of cm, to increase the speed of the kite, this reduces the power, yet increases the speed helping to increase momentum. As the wind builds i'll trim out again for full power and optimum flying. Then once the kite is getting over powered i'll trim in again. I guess what i'm trying to say is, use the trimmer, and not just for being overpowerd. Good understanding of this will give you the maximum wind range and fun. If you feel overerpowerd use it. When it's light, and if you feel the kite stalls when you have the bar all the way in trim it. The trimmer is there for a reason to trim you kite for the conditions. Use it, and you'll have a lot more fun and a bigger windrange:D Like Marman say's when learning your better under than over powered. So pull on ya trimmer.
  3. Totaly agree with the above the 11 would be the best choice for a 1 kite quiver. However if you can get i good prise on the 13 go for it. The 13 has a great wind range. you will just need to start pulling the trimmer in earler than you would on a 11, and loose out a little on the top end. Good luck Mark
  4. Flippin light. Not sure bro but it feels about the same as Jack's cambello/skate trucks/F2/rockstar/primo light setup. Approximately a lot lighter than me kitedeck. Kept wiping out yesterday it was that light (unless that's cos I'm a spacklington). Going to take a bit of getting used to but feels amazing. Flippin light then:D
  5. Mr Muchinhouse, Please tell, what is the weight of your new child ?
  6. Feel free to use any of mine
  7. Just been sent a video clip to my mobile from Spike, of him bouncing up and down on yet another new creation. And this one is carbon free Man is that guy ever busy cooking up new toy's:D
  8. That is truley a thing of Bling Sir Bob
  9. Dont forget the Ozone Instinct, if build quality is important to you. These kites have super stabilty too:D
  10. How deep are your pocket's ? Though you could be nice to the planet and bag for life;)
  11. And i'll bring a stack of tesco's you'll be hooked;)
  12. The future for you my friend is the Tesco bag. Oh no you say it's too small. Stack um buddy, and you'll rip. Each kite/bag comes complete with handels, but no bar. Just stuff a broom handel through the handels and you'll be right;) No depower, but wake style is the future dude. For some reason i recon they would suit your style. I will not BOW down to any other kite/bag. Tesco styles. It's the way of the future.
  13. Before thinking about looping the kite in the air, get comfortable looping the kite with your wheels rolling on the ground. This way you'll get an idea about the forces that looping the kite generates. Trying to figure this out in the air could be very nasty. Kite loops ar'nt hard, but they require 100% comitment. 50% will break bones. The risk is what gives them the big buzz feeling. Be comfortable flying your kite all the way round the window. This will open up many transitions, plus a mega power rush. Keep it safe Mark And loop that *****
