    Why do you need to take a hand off if you're not grabbing your board...if you're boosting then it makes no difference having one hand on...in fact having 2 will give you better redirect and control as you come down....i reckon your bar may also bet set up slightly wrong (may need trimming)...also wind speed has a huge impact on jumping!!! And as john said its all about practice...in differeing conditions!

    cheers homeslice...you need a good subject to shoot tho....a decent model the rest is easy!

    you're gonna get all sorts of responses about peoples fav board....and TBH you'll probably go through 2/3 boadrs before you find the best shape, size for you....demo some shop boards...mates boards etc.....people will prob ask your weight and height to help......just dont get caught up with pimpin' and dont get a 'beginner board' you'll grow out of it quick!

    i've been wearing a knee brace since i started K'surfing (3yrs)...my knee cap dislocates if i dont....TBH my knees FUBAR'd anyway...i use a normal sports knee support and does fine.
