  1. I don't know about west but if you go east you've got Branksome, Boscombe, Avon Beach, Hill Head, Calshot, West Wittering (membership required)
  2. audacity is pretty easy and its free
  3. Not bad at all and pretty well produced and mastered I'd happily pay a fair amount for recording of that quality!!! perhaps more reverb/delay and/or different miccing if its an acoustic piano or different preset if digital during the verse cracking voice particularly if he hasn't played with pitch correction etc etc
  4. Yeah your htc blackberry nokia or whatever is probably made there too :-p 400,000 employees gotta have some suicidal nutters specially with a job that dull!!
  5. 1 month isn't that long! do you feel physically fitter as a result? is it around the stomach area cos that is a notoriously hard area to loose fatt tissue! Please excuse me as this answer is pretty elementary but whats your weights program like? i.e the standard low weight high reps v.s. high weight low reps if its the latter and your using supplements then you probably will put on or maintain weight. I've put on weight after switching to a program like that just from bulking up a bit more!. Also with cardio theres a set heart rate band for your age that you should be training at to burn maximum fat. If your running your nuts off it will help your cardovascular fitness but you wont lose weight as easily invest in a polar sensor or simmilar so you can adust your cardio work out to stay in that heart beat range and try adding some low weight exercises to tone up. Does your gym have personal training service included? not the really expensive stay with you through the whole routine thing but where they sit down and discuss a program with you and then you go off and do it and alter it as you see fit and go back for a review later if you feel the need oh and avoid the creatine phosphate was talking about that makes you retain water apparently but it does make you burn fat quicker so you will whey the same /more but it will be good weight as it were! apart from that I cant think what else
  6. I'm thinking about trying some different supplements at present I'm just using standard met-rx whey protein and wondered what peoples views on creatine phosphate was I know what it does and how it works so I don't need to be educated in the physiology of muscle etc! I am aware that it makes you retain water but the main thing I am worried about is that it boosts your energy levels which is great whilst your on it, but coming off it can mean you feel fatigued and tired for a while has anyone experienced this. I was thinking about going for maximuscle cyclone which is a mixed supplement including whey and creatine as well as glutanine and other amino acids etc any advice for the record I'm not a body builder!! and am not interested in steroids aha I like my balls and heart the size they are!!
  7. How serious are you about getting on the water and how soon. Also, once you've learnt realistically how often would you be going? surely this should be the deciding factor rather than how well it deals with a barbed wire fence or a tree!! Id Happily use foil, LEI or an arc on land but only ever an LEI on water just out of preference. If your only going to be getting to the water very rarely then maybe you should reconsider and invest in a quality foil or arc for landboarding and give the kitesurfing a miss until you can afford both. That said there is nothing wrong with using an LEI on land they perform great I prefer the way they feel and turn so its up to you if your getting an LEI id urge you t go for something like an ION2 a slingshot rev, cabrinha switchblade from 2008 would serve you well 10-12m. Im a massive inflatable fan but dont rule out the other kites they might serve you better!!
  8. Probably already been said but what is £50 when you've spent atleast £300-400 on a buggy £100 on a harness, if you have a full quiver over £1000 on kites!! all be it for something very small but that could potentially save your life/prevent injury!!
  9. Failing that try Copytrans
  10. Festival time sorted then!
  11. yurp its sick!
  12. Who's done it? would you recommend it? My main reason would be removing data restriction and free tethering will o2 be able to trace the data useage? Cheers Chris
  13. I think Kiter Ryan summed this up lol "If its shiny and made by apple I'll buy it!" for the record I'm not a mac hater I have a macbook pro, use logic 9, aperture have an ipod and an iphone lol! but my £220 netbook shits all over the £800 ipad and is still quite pretty!!

If I were you I'd read up on the models after we've all suggested some! go to Jessops or whatever and have a play and then come home and buy it off warehouse express! At this budget your better off going for a entry level/ intermediate camera with a few lenses than a prosumer camera with its kit lens. Canon vs Nikon don't even get started!! although what I have noticed is that if you have small hands a nikon may be better (my girlfriend is a pro photographer and has tiny hands and the nikons fit nicely but she finds my canon too big and clunky) If your looking canon the 550d will be spot on same image processing as the more pricey cameras 15mp sensor and shoots HD movies (I dont know how they compare to that of the 7d or 5d mkII but if they're anything close the quality is AMAZING!!) Nikon I'd probably go for a d90 or d5000 As for lenses the kit 18-55 lens is useful but getting a 70-200/300 to sit above is really useable too 5000 not 3000 i was getting confused with the 300 that is a bit more expensive! I'd start with that as a basis and then build from there if you want any wider angle lenses at a later date
