At the risk of playing devil's advocate, I'd say try something else. That's based on my (very recent) experience.
I've only just started kiting (august in fact) and started with a 1.4 Buster, as recommended by a friend. I was seriously considering a 4.0 Buster as a 2nd kite but Dan (I think) at Powerkiteshop.com told me to try a 3.5 Pepper - he said he'd sell me a Buster if I wanted but said I'd do better with the Pepper. He thinks the construction of the Pepper is better since the Buster's slightly older now and to be honest, he even advised against the 4.5 Pepper.
In doing so he screwed himself out of £30 odd quid because the 3.5 Pepper's a lot cheaper. I have just taken my Pepper out at the Lickeys and it had me all over the place, I was scudding and dragging and had a great workout (Kite killers are wonderful!) in pretty gusty conditions
I love my 1.4 Buster, but I feel I've made a good choice
Cheers
