  10. Which lowish cost of kitesurf board would be a good beginners board to learn on .. ? If its of interest i weigh around 16st and am 5' 11" .. thanks
  11. i agree lonewolf .... totally .. dont really think a 14 year old is capable of really grasping the dire consequences of kiting with a Strike 2 ... Myself and my son were out landboarding on the East Coast with our 5.5 Bullet and struggling immensely to control it in 10 - 12 mph winds ... so i took over ( and i weigh 16.5st and quite fit too ) and was dragged firstly 8 feet into the air and then at least 50 ft down the beach at immense speed ... scared the crap out me ...! - it happened so damn quickly ... i could do very little to stop it..! .. then my son thought it was great to see me do this stunt ( so he thought ) and looked peeved when i insisted it be packed away for the day . So i think wether it be traction or water based kiting EVERYONE should get some training before they buy big kites .. in fact it should be compulsary.
