  1. My Comp XR has been sat in my garage unused for the past couple of years so it now needs to go. Bought about 4 years ago off this forum. http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q221/kieranbennett/Kite%20Buggy/73d86810.jpg http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q221/kieranbennett/Kite%20Buggy/fcf14735.jpg http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q221/kieranbennett/Kite%20Buggy/d755190a.jpg It had new bearings in all wheels just before I stopped using it, so everything spins very freely. Foot pegs have nice grippy bits of bike tyres and bungy zip tied on, both of which could be easily removed. Peter lynn splash guard included. The straps on the back of the seat have started to come unstiched, but these could be repaired very easily. There is a small rip by the strap that goes round the front tube, but this could also be repaired without much fuss. Pics available if required. Not sure what its worth so any offers considered, otherwise it'll be onto ebay. I'm based in Cheltenham, so will happilly deliver to local area, or you can have a test ride at cleeve hill
  2. Need to replace all the wheel bearings & the headtube bolt & bearings on my Peter Lynn XR buggy. A while ago i ordered the headtube bolt and bearings for a Peter Lynn "bigfoot" buggy, came to fit them last night and they are completly the wrong size. My trawling through several online sites only gives spares options for the standard and the bigfoot. I'm at work at the moment, so can't check bearing/bolt sizes. So if somebody could advise me of the sizes and where i can source them online, or even better, somewhere off the M5 between bristol & Birmingham, that would have them in stock. Cheers

  10. I would have thought that even for a design thesis, you will have to do a significant amount of research into uses, body shapes & weights, and decided what 'style' of buggy to design. After that some analysis of forces upon the chassis, bearing's etc. If yo0ur doing a degree this should be fairly obvios place to start. The design will be fairly easy. Wheel at the front, two at the back, with somehere to sit in between.
