    Its a long time since I learned but I'll do my best. On a reach, start to turn away from the kite so that you increase force on yourself and the buggy and you almost start to slide. At this point transfer your weight to the kite side, and press down on the footpeg nearest the kite, whilst lifting the one away from it (easiest if you have footstraps) a little dive of the kite into the power zone will also help get you up. Basically you then need to balance the varying force of the kite with slight steering changes. Steve.

    Incorrect. Just hot water as the man said. Weaver fish venom is not affected in any way by urine. Jelly fish stings - Now that is different, but only heat will take the sting away from a Weaver. Been there. It is nasty. Steve.

    Hey Bartibat, any speed in a Flexi buggy is far more exciting than the same speed in a race buggy. I still enjoy both for different reasons. Steve.

    Early Blade III 6.6's suffered from a problem with the second row of bridles (B) being too short or becoming too short after a little use. Basically it caused the kite to be impossible to get to the zenith, and it just stopped about half way up with a crease along the B row. Charlie at Flexi used to supply a kit to fix it. I think that it lengthened both the A and B bridles, or perhaps just shortened the © row. Later Blade III 6.6's didn't need it. If it was done when not needed, you ended up with a 6.6 kite with the power of a 4.9 that turned like a truck. Note that every large Blade (indeed any mid to high aspect kite) needs to be flown side to side to get them to the top of the window if the wind is light. Steve.

    Flexi never made a Blade 3.5 did they? Do you mean Bullet? In which case it will be more difficult.

    +1 for the simple Q&A for sign-ups. I recently had about 20 new members from Russia, China etc joining one of my sites each day. Tried various CAPTCHA settings and finally came up with a simple Q&A strategy (not seen it used anywhere else) that has been 100% effective ever since. Steve.
