eric5365 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 What I don't understand is how Sutton Park still has an area for model aeroplane flying when (reportedly) there was a serious injury to a member of the public with one of them some years ago, and yet kite-traction is banned. I have no problem with model planes myself, but kiting hasn;t caused an actual injury there has it? I was told that the person injured recoverd, and insurance payed up.
gavw Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 All posts are totally right , just stating what Ive seen locally- As for SP ok for static flying anytime but buggying is a real no no - Zotty's right about the wind in SP not the cleanest . As for SOR personally never had any problems there and in the past as Zotty will verify we have had some top sessions there. Anyway off to Anglesey this weekend so will hopefully get some flying in on a beach .
