stokeygreg Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 What's happening fellow rs buggiers, is there anyone who can get clarification from Ralf himself as to what the score is? here's hoping for good news...... Quote
Maverick440 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Its offical, Ralf has stopped making the RS Buggy and all his stock has gone. I spoke to him today and he and ill quote "needs to get a life" and has had to stop making the buggy's. Very sad news as the RS was the best value buggy on the markiet, but sadly its no more..................... Quote
mikeymustard Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Fraid so folks, Mav speaks the truth, only reason the co.uk site is stil up and running is cos i lost the logon details a while ago when I updated my op system Quote
gavw Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Sad to hear Ralf has called it a day - better look after our RS's as I suppose that means no more spares will be available ?????? Quote
mikeymustard Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 the only thing that'll wear out on your Rs is the bearings and tyres, both standard items, and maybe the seat which is also a fairly standard size, so don't worry, the RS will be around for some years yet (I suspect they'll last longer than many other brands such as phoons, rads and PL's) Quote
Bushy99 Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 That's bad news. I am sorry to hear that Ralph has jacked it all in, it was a pleasure to deal with him. Quote
FO Kite Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 No need to worry guys your RS buggies will last a long time. There are plenty of spares available ..................... just phone Libre:D Just a thought .......... I wonder if Pansh may start making a buggy soon F/O Kite Quote
-LT- Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 seconded libra stuff fits the RS nice and there swannie is better than the RS one no unsightly plates welded on well after mucking about i decided to get a swan neck as well didnt like the look of the RS ones with those big strengthening plates welded to the side so i took a chance and can verify that the libra swannie fits perfect its also about an inch longer on the down section than the RS ones before with standard downtube and old spash guard http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/Tannith/DSCF1305.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/Tannith/DSCF1304.jpg after with new swaneck splashguard and gps holder http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/Tannith/DSCF1484.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/Tannith/DSCF1489.jpg Quote
