  1. I absolutely love my 9m Atom for land but the water relaunch was shockingly bad.
  2. hi, how much are you looking for?
  3. I popped down today and got a few long zoom photos of you...they're a bit hazy but I'll bring a better lens next time. LINK:>Kite - a set on Flickr
  4. Hi, all. I've been away from Kiting for about 1yr now but I'm currently living in Hoylake with a Kite + Buggy sat in my garage and hungry to get out. I came down to the beach on Sunday but you were all miles out and having a great time so I didn't walk across. I was wondering what the protocol was for flying on Hoylake beach? I work away during the week but I'm desperate to get out one weekend soon. Thanks, Simeon
  5. I went to Flag beach last year in July - 2 weeks of no wind. Even while walking the lava reef was f**king lethal on your feet and there are *huge* holes in it so when you're trying to get in the water you're either getting ripped to shreds or falling down holes. I took my chances a few times over the 2 weeks and never got out on the water along with loads of others although I did see a guy with a huge Flysurfer out there on his own but he soon came back. I also had problems with the taxi drivers out there who took 1 look at the board and refused to even try and get it in the back of the cab! I had to walk back into town many times. My kite-surfing experience at flag beach was non-existant but I wouldn't go back again.
  6. just rediscovered this in my garage. Still crispy like new, comes with handles but no lines (no idea where these have gone)
  7. well spotted, thanks.
  8. I'm selling my Garmin GPS 60 if anyone's interested as I've changed my GPS. Main advantages over eTrex: * BIG display - makes it really easy to see your data like Max Speed & Current Speed while you're cruising. It's *much* bigger display than the eTrex. * USB interface to update/collect data. No faffing around with serial cables. "Mates rates" discount available if I know you, ask me first. ebay auction: http://bit.ly/YTgUR Garmin Info: http://bit.ly/15H2j5 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3197/2663839467_a93ba3843b.jpg
  9. I can't find anywhere that teaches you how to build a bootable USB device for the OSX install, I've only seen those for Windows. Very long tutorial here on installing iAtkos: http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=10197
