Finally broke through the 30MPH barrier to clock a PB of 36.8MPH :D.

EKS site A 20 June 2009 - 1st outing with my new Blurr.

 

Parastorm + Blurr 7m = 36.8MPH

36.8 mph with a 7 mtre none race kite is very good well done....

 

ive reached around the 30's with my 7.8 oxi with a top speed of 33 mph with it .

How the hell did people manage to get over 70? Thats insane.

 

The fastest i have a picture of is 33.7mph taken a year or so ago. On holiday up in northumberland.

Oh I do over 70 easy. Just need long beach over 3 miles long and right kite, buggy + good wind & a set of tytanium balls. The last element is very hard to come bay in current age. More rare than winning lotto jack pot 5 times in one life time! haha

 

100 mph + is the magic barrier to that very few have broken.

Pb's were`tumbling at BLS on Saturday while I was there, not from me though, I managed 49.4mph with a 4m Yak in around 30mph wind on the Cheetah, but someone went way faster than me flying on a 13m kite in the same winds....lol

 

Speed Records have moved back to my old site for a while as I have some TW@T in Taiwan keep adding Malware on my new site

Carl, could you please update my pb please. Done this on 29th August at Borth in Wales. Not much of an improvment but edging nearer that big 40. As it happens the 68 mile distance is a pb for me as well:D so all in all a good day was had.

Improved my PB yesterday at La Franqui! crazy winds shame i couldnt stay longer!

Did 81.4 kph on the 6m syn ill get a pic of the gps later. Lucky i had 2 of em cauz i think i forgot to turn one off at the end of the session :D
