youngged Posted May 16, 2009 Report Posted May 16, 2009 Well a new pb today at Hoylake. 53.5 mph Buggy = Tornado Kite = 3.3m Pansh Sprint Wind = 15-43 mph Got the pb as a big front blew in and everyone else ran for cover I did one last run, it was very overpowered and very sideways lol:D :D http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh121/youngged/IMGP0648.jpg Quote
Badger Posted May 17, 2009 Report Posted May 17, 2009 New top speed for me of 39.9mph : 16th May 2009 Les Hemmes (France) Flexi Buggy with Standard 1m Axle Yakuza 2.2m Wind 16mph off shore gusting to 35mph Was a bit exciting . Shame I couldn't get the extra 0.1 . It would be really interesting to see the top speed rankings for 1m axle buggies as it would be far easier in a bigger heavier buggy. Nice one! In a small buggy you can go fast as hell when you go downwind but quite dangerous indeed! Was good conditions, you dont get it often that the beach is so smooth over there cauz of the rain. Nick the german hit 88 kph yesterday!! Quote

ukspeedtraps Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 Managed the magic 40 mph today, after having a play for a few hours I did three runs at Borth on the 8m Access kite in 15-20 mph winds. 40.7 MPH, the point 7 matters Used the new Peter Lynn RS seat, much better than the Flexifoil seat for holding down the power. After the even more magic 50 mph on the next session Quote
