Well a new pb today at Hoylake. 53.5 mph

Buggy = Tornado

Kite = 3.3m Pansh Sprint

Wind = 15-43 mph

Got the pb as a big front blew in and everyone else ran for cover I did one last run, it was very overpowered and very sideways lol:D :D :D

New top speed for me of 39.9mph :D:

16th May 2009

Les Hemmes (France)

Flexi Buggy with Standard 1m Axle

Yakuza 2.2m

Wind 16mph off shore gusting to 35mph

Was a bit exciting :eek:. Shame I couldn't get the extra 0.1 :rolleyes:.

It would be really interesting to see the top speed rankings for 1m axle buggies as it would be far easier in a bigger heavier buggy.

I could have gone much faster but the surface was too lumpy with the wheels hopping about and I didn't fancy flipping the buggy at that speed.

Nice one! In a small buggy you can go fast as hell when you go downwind but quite dangerous indeed! Was good conditions, you dont get it often that the beach is so smooth over there cauz of the rain.

Nick the german hit 88 kph yesterday!!

Woah! That is fast - What buggy was he in?

Mine was not a downwind run by the way, was cross wind in the sweet spot :).

Distance of over 50miles, was a really good session untill the beach dried up too much so one brake in soft sand and out I came lol.

Managed the magic 40 mph today, after having a play for a few hours I did three runs at Borth on the 8m Access kite in 15-20 mph winds. :cool:

40.7 MPH, the point 7 matters

Used the new Peter Lynn RS seat, much better than the Flexifoil seat for holding down the power.

After the even more magic 50 mph on the next session :eek:

Managed 45mph at weston last week, perfect conditions gusting upto 35mph, not bad in a PL comp ST, another 5mph to get to the magic 50.
