domenic Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 The arrival of the first xxracer in Australia it has taken 3 month but the wait was worth it. thanks to Ruudje (from Holland) for the superb crarftmenship that goes in to building the buggy. Thank you Ruudje for your help last night in putting it together with Eddie and l through the web cam. It was good to have the builders advice to put and the buggy together . l will try the buggy this weekend if the weather is good , or eddie can tow me around the park here is a few photos of the buggy Quote
Goz Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Very Nice looking buggy Domenic, I see it's already been for a lap around the lounge room. Quote
nigel Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 NICE!!!!!!!! I'll see what your's is like, then I might have to get the second one. Quote
Fast_Eddie Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 NICE!!!!!!!! I'll see what your's is like, then I might have to get the second one. Sorry Nigel you will have to make your one the third What can I say but, WOW what a buggy. Quality is second to none, this buggy is built with a purpose by a racer for a racer. Everything fitted together nicely. This buggy was made and is adjustable to Dom's exact body dimensions so far as the siderails will actually stop you from getting yanked out...it fits like a F1 c o c kpit. Nice one Dom n' Vik Quote
nigel Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Sorry Nigel you will have to make your one the third So it's a bulk order then? We'll save on postage. Quote
Goz Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Better be careful where you park it Dom otherwise the Extreme kites sticker fairy might pay it a visit Dare I ask what it costs to get one to your door in Australia? Quote

Luke Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Sweet looking ride, too good to use, keep it in the lounge room, glad I am not lifting it lol. My belly pan from the UK cost $230 Au to get it here and that thing weighs 1kg, that buggy must have cost a heap of money! Don't get it dirty! Quote

Peter Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 i realy have to admit how much i like what i see in the xxtreme, very fine work indeed. Anyone want to buy a Libre Dragster? with all the race buggies around, and from the sounds of things, more to come, maybe it has become time to start an official Australian Kite Buggy Race Series, now wouldn't that be cool. ripsessionkites Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 congrads on the apexx, we out ours last year just in time for nabx 2008. there is only 3 in Canada/USA, and everyone that tried it out loved it. ruudje sure makes a sweet buggy, and he and Ozzy are planning to attend the USA - NABX event in 2009. we had to wait about 3 months as well with all the measurements we had to send him, but once we got them it was worth the wait since they all fit the owners like a glove. its like sitting on a comfortable sofa. i did a review on mine thats posted on this website. also as you stated, its nothing better than the actual designer talking with you on Skype / Webcam telling you how to setup the buggy. thats 110% better than reading some instruction manual. dunno what shipping is from Holland to AUS .. however we got 3 buggies by Fedex Overnight for $200 Canadian Dollar. if youre trying to get an XXRacer or ApeXX. I suggest this to save on shipping. FEDEX offers discount shipping on your first shipment. All you have to do is setup an account and they offer 40% off on your first package. FEDEX doesnt tell you that up front, SO YOU HAVE TO ASK for it. Quote
Jimmy22 Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 what an amazing beast, i have some of those rear tyres coming soon . for me it might be the end of my designing though except my carkeek leading link which would be easy fixed you must be a very happy guy. is it a 1.68 wheel base x 1.38 wide axle only buggy ?
