jack-son Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Hi guys, I'm kind a new flyer here, so HALLO!. Does anyone fly in Eastleigh? What do you think about Eastleigh Rugby Football Club? Looks like a good place to me. And it's only walking distance from my place. Do you know if there are any restrictions?
Fat Bloke Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Hello Jack-son. I think you'll find the rugby club is too close to the airport: the CAA get very jumpy about kites around active airfields.......AV can probably remember - I'm too old and senile ........
martin Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 If that's the field over the railway bridge & down the road on the left hand side, isn't it surrounded by tall tress? I flew in the waste ground next to junc. 5 M27 once. It was pretty naff.
avspider Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 We live close to the airport too, but it's nicer to fly @ Lordshill, as it's alloud there. And I think that field is a little too close to the airport. Is anybody around the weekend for a fly? I've been a little busy with the new toy and new job.
Big Daddy Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Been pondering where to fly myself:rolleyes:
martin Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Is there a secret message in there somewhere? I hope you've been busy editing the vid from the weekend AV. It's taking me ages to sort.
Big Daddy Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Been pondering where to fly myself:rolleyes: Possibly, or possibly not, depends really:D
