NORMTHENOVICE Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 Hey Turf, sorry u could'nt make it 2 day was a very good day at ballards gore. it was the festival of sports weekend & we ended up being the most liked sport yes the press turned up man!! would like to thank paul / shaun / jason /for their input to promote our local field, turf pop down when u can ok, also yes barleylands is good to fly on as well so go say hello to the guys over there as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shrimpo Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Yep as Phil said,, the boot sale is over the other side, the field is open for use all the time,, only times will be.. as below due to large events at the farm..so would not adivse these weekends..unless you want to go to the events that is.... Two weekends of disruption left this year. 10th, 11th & 12th August – Noddy 8th & 9th September – Country show Pop over any other time,, always welcome... Shrimpo Quote

Still not able to fly yet, a few more weeks yet, but thanks for the offer,,,, Just did not want peeps turning up to find they could not use the field,, we still may get anouther to fly in on these weekends, just need to find out from the Farm,, depends on how many of the fields are being used,, as the footie season is starting, they have less to offer now..
