etchy6 Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Hi, I won't be flying round there until summer 09, but i like to plan ahead. I am stuck in port regis school over the summer holidays and would love to get out to kite a bit. Salisbury is a 30min train ride. How far is it from the train station to the field in which you kite. OR Do any of you know a place nearer (shaftbury, Gillingham...etc...) where I can kite. Dom Quote
Big Daddy Posted October 24, 2008 Author Report Posted October 24, 2008 1.9 miles from station to Hudsons. Usual requirements - helmet/insurance etc. As for you local cats...anyone doing anything over the weekend? Quote
outinthesticks Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Plan on being water bound :-) Quote
Squares Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Not local anymore, but we're doing the same. Waterbound at littlehampton tomorrow..it's going to be kicking. Starting to get a little chilly tho maybe time to invest in a drysuit. Graham are you still heading to hunstanton next weekend? we were up there last sat/sun, really nice beach and nice vans at the holiday park, gas fires and everything. may be tempted to go next weekend if the wind looks good.
