sonicseal Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Chalkline - Of course What time you due? Lowtides 13:43hrs ish. Had a good solo sesh today, got up late so stayed local. Nova was only blowing 15-16mph solid upto 22mph towards hightide. A bit cross-onshore but no bomb-holes. Quite a bit warmer than recent too. Did think about all the people working, but then the kite launched and I somehow forgot all about them Nik - Good to see you posting here dude. We'll meet up soon and you can put some faces to names. A few locals are away at the mo, PeteB is in Denmark til the weekend, A group is off to Ireland next week. Chalkline regularly revisits from London village. And a few live about an hours drive away. Anyone gives you any abuse, i'll give em a slap for you.
animal_69 Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 hahahaha..cheers dude. Sounds like you had a giggle today then, were you on the board..??
carl999 Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Hoping to be around Nova on Wed & Thurs for some fun , its always good to meet new faces, cya's there if you are going. Just finished a weekend of nights but it looks like I did not miss any good wind days Carl.

carl999 Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 OK, but it wont count if you land upside down Well that just aint fair Carl.
animal_69 Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 hey Paul..you'll have to book us in for a tutor session on the board. Not even moved on mine outside yet
chalkline Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 [quote= sonicseal]Chalkline - Of course What time you due? Lowtides 13:43hrs ish. i will be getting to wales tomorrow night, had to make sure i didn't lose a day driving when i could be on stand by for a blast had a buyer for the v19 up till an hour ago, gutted got under cut by £100.
sonicseal Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Carl - Nik - No worries. Lessons will save time/money/bruises/blood, but you'll still get loads of help, tips and ideas on the beaches anyway. Best thing is to see where you're upto with the kite and help you progress rapido. Well worth cracking the kites before getting on a board. Can sort lessons whenever you are ready. Mick Knox - Dunno what email adddress you used but it's sonicseal@hotmail.com dude. Nothing arrived this morning. Hope your well. Looks like Tuesdays rain is shifting a bit. Might squeeze a blast at West Shore tomorrow.
Foggoflyer Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Hi guys, Just after a bit of info.Thinking about going to North Wales for a few days over the Spring bank holiday.Probably around the Rhyl area, just wondering which are the best beaches for kite landboarding, Please divulge your secret hot spots.
chalkline Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 hey sonic got to try out your strapless ride
sonicseal Posted February 6, 2006 Report Posted February 6, 2006 Foggoflyer - No problemo. When's the Spring Holiday? Only just recovering from Christmas Rhyl is a bit unreliable and Prestatyn is only 5 mins away. Prestatyn is good in any wind with a N in it. West Shore in Llandudno on a Westerly and Black Rock Sands in Porthmadog on a SW. SE to E are bad. Give us a shout nearer the time, we can swap mobile numbers and arrange to meet up at a current hotspot. We got more hotspots than a Micheal Barrymore party Chalkline - Strapless is both mental and cool. Best at BRS. Been starting the strapless revolution.
animal_69 Posted February 7, 2006 Report Posted February 7, 2006 Nik - No worries.
