Hi all..

Im living in L'dudno..only been on west shore upto now. Not met anyone in the flesh, but ive had a good natter to Si an swapped a few PM's with Paul (easy geezers :) ).

Hmmm..bout it really, dyng to try the blade out in a decent wind & might actually step foot on my board one wkend soon..lol

Cheers, Nik.

Chalkline - Of course :D What time you due? Lowtides 13:43hrs ish.

Had a good solo sesh today, got up late so stayed local. Nova was only blowing 15-16mph solid upto 22mph towards hightide. A bit cross-onshore but no bomb-holes. Quite a bit warmer than recent too.

Did think about all the people working, but then the kite launched and I somehow forgot all about them :D

Nik - Good to see you posting here dude.

We'll meet up soon and you can put some faces to names.

A few locals are away at the mo, PeteB is in Denmark til the weekend, A group is off to Ireland next week. Chalkline regularly revisits from London village. And a few live about an hours drive away.

Anyone gives you any abuse, i'll give em a slap for you.

Carl - :p

Nik - No worries. Lessons will save time/money/bruises/blood, but you'll still get loads of help, tips and ideas on the beaches anyway.

Best thing is to see where you're upto with the kite and help you progress rapido. Well worth cracking the kites before getting on a board.

Can sort lessons whenever you are ready.

Mick Knox - Dunno what email adddress you used but it's sonicseal@hotmail.com dude. Nothing arrived this morning. Hope your well.

Looks like Tuesdays rain is shifting a bit.

Might squeeze a blast at West Shore tomorrow.

Hi guys, Just after a bit of info.Thinking about going to North Wales for a few days over the Spring bank holiday.Probably around the Rhyl area, just wondering which are the best beaches for kite landboarding, Please divulge your secret hot spots. :p

Posted

Foggoflyer - No problemo. When's the Spring Holiday? Only just recovering from Christmas :p

Rhyl is a bit unreliable and Prestatyn is only 5 mins away.

Prestatyn is good in any wind with a N in it. West Shore in Llandudno on a Westerly and Black Rock Sands in Porthmadog on a SW. SE to E are bad.

Give us a shout nearer the time, we can swap mobile numbers and arrange to meet up at a current hotspot.

We got more hotspots than a Micheal Barrymore party :D

Chalkline - Strapless is both mental and cool. Best at BRS. Been starting the strapless revolution.
