Anyone free this thursday (20th) late afternoon??

Hey....a while ago i posted on this forum saying i was new to australia and wanted to get into the kite scene etc...thanks to all those who posted back. What with moving, finding work, saving money - all the essentials ive not been able to afford a land board - i came to aus with my kite (frenzy07). Ive got wind that a board might be coming my way at xmas so will be back in action!!

 

Is anyone free to meet up at Rooty Hill this thursday for a blast - my kite is soooo dusty - im itching to get out there, i finish work at 4pm so can there for 4.30 - if anyones around get in touch!

Welcome back

Hopefully I should finish work at around 3:30. Looks like there could be a decent wind in the arvo but unfortunately there is the possibility of a thunder storm as well. Will take a punt on work and the weather and say I will be up there around 4:30 even if it is just to say hello

I really need a good session, lets hope the midweek thing works

Sincere appologies if you went down the hill to find no one. Left home to head up the Hill, just in case you went up anyway (with the current weather conditions) only to find that there has been a major accident blocking the exit to the suburb that I live in. After sitting in traffic for about 15 minutes I realised that it would be nearer to 5:00 before I would get up there. Assuming that by that time you would have already left thinking we were rude bastards, I decided to turn around.

Not usually the way things pan out, again really sorry but hope to catch up with you soon.

I believe that Robmueck and I are going for a fly down at Timbrell park this afternoon. I am hoping to get there about 6pm and there is still plenty of light left and they may even have the sports light son for a night fly.
