Chivalry Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 only thing im botherd about is the fact that ui keep earin that th neon ones are pretty much limited to 13--13.5k... does that mean if im at 11k now with a neon.. if i got a normal one id prolly be hitting 13k ? seeing as there around 2k faster for some reason? Adrena1in Posted April 27, 2005 Author Report Posted April 27, 2005 Neons will go faster than 13.5k. Calum nearly managed that, and is now on 13.8k. I did 12.4k on a Neon when I could do 12.8k on a regular one. However, Spook's best was about 11.5k on a Neon, then had a go on my regular and did 12.6k straight away. So they are about 5 or 10 % slower. Akis could probably do around 14 to 14.5k with a Neon. (Would be interested to see him try!) Face it though...Neon's are far more cool. Quote

Was 13,215, then did 13,234, then 13,241 this evening. Oh yeah...with my left hand too!! Could only manage 13,137 with my right hand. Broke my 90-second endurance record with my right though. Quote

Noodle Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 nutcase; Some Powerballs only have a 30-second endurance mode. If you press the function button until the arm appears, and the display says '0', then as soon as you start it spinning it'll count 30 seconds and tot up all the revs in those 30 seconds. If the display says '30', then press on/clear and it'll say '60'. Press on/clear again and it'll say '90'. Start it spinning then and it'll count 30, 60 or 90 seconds and display the total revs at the end. Basically, keeping the Powerball going almost as fast as you can, for as long as you can, builds the muscles up really well and often helps you improve you scores massively. Ah Got it now, Just found the arm on my neon power ball, Ill have a crack at the 30sec first! Thanks for clearing that up! Quote

Was 80th at one point, now down to 96th!! I didn't take one with me on holiday last week, but had a go the day I got back and could only manage 12.5k. I thought a break would be good. Quote

I then got a 250Hz and did 12006 on my first try. Two weeks later and I still hadn't done 12k again, then finally did 12006 again, bizarrely. It does go like that sometimes. /me thinks he must put his 13241 score on the Powerballs.com Flexiboard. Quote
