mick Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 OK Dwain, heres the info. yes they will fit in anything. My mate puts his in a Uno with the seats up. Take no notice what the critics say. They are very good. Robust enough and are qiuite rugged but only slagged off by people who have never owned one. Had mine for 18mths,sold it to a mate. He had it for 12mths. Now its gone to another mate. Never broke, bent or owt. Reason for sale? Well you gotta have a spend now and again. I borrowed it back last weekend and it was still good. Buy one. Quote
Brother Dave Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 Started of with one and they are great Have a flexi one now as I do jumping so the pl folding had too go Quote
flurokitty Posted November 11, 2004 Report Posted November 11, 2004 We have the folding buggy and yeah it will fit in just about anything we have had it and all the kites in the boot of a volkswagen golf and and a fiat siecento. We got ours from the kite store on neal st covent garden it was £250 but we picked it up so no P&P also we got 10% off for buying a new kite at the same time. They are fairly robust but quite bouncy I have put loads of pipe lagging round it and added extra grip to the foot bars so now it is a nice little buggy. It really does go together in seconds too and you don't need any tools to do it, after a rattle round the field though it did need a tighten up so make sure you look after it if you get one. Quote
doh Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 my first year and a bit in a buggy was with a folder, only complaint was that it doesn't feel very solid and is a bit noisy with all the rattles. but saying that nothing broke and it was very stable due to low centre of gravity. if i had the cash and the space i would still have one Quote
Airwolf Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 A Parastorm Typhoon may not fold but it does pull apart very quickly and fits into a bag. Quote
GaRRy Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Dont be fooled onto thinking a folding buggy needs less space than another buggy of simular size. A fully taken apart Flexi or pl comp will take up less space than a folder. What you do gain is it does pack relatively small fast (20 seconds or so) as opposed to a normal buggy which will take 5 minutes or so. If you are out for the day you have to decide if this saving is worth it. Oh and ive even seen people with large v-max size buggies pack down into smart cars and simular no problem. Quote
philgolf Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 why not get a libre special , all it takes is 5 mins to take off the 2 back wheels and one other nut for the the front wheel strut , this then folds over into the seat . No problem in ressembling. I can get me in my Audio tt with seat down no problem. Excellent buggy not too sure about the folding ones they look at bit weak if you ask me. Also not that comfortable Ive been told Quote
mick Posted November 13, 2004 Report Posted November 13, 2004 Yes i would agree about not being too comfortable but for an afternoon session they're fine and if you never get in a Libre you'de never know. Take all the spacers out of all the bolts and when assembled put a luggage strap across the two side bars behind the seat. Not a rattle and far quieter than my xr or my mates flexi. Honestly. Quote
