Baldy Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Has anyone tried gluing anything like lino to the soles of an old pair of trainers. Or are there any other crazy ideas out there? Quote
whizzer Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 The low Cof G obviously helped, although I heard he had to keep moving his belly out the way to see where he was going LMFAO Quote
rburton Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I did try gluing a strip of galvanized steel to some old shoes and it worked justy great but for the fact that they generated so much heat on dry sand that I had to jettison them mid run. I was told that I needed to put a layer of cork on and then try it. (You could also use silicone rubber as an adhisive i woudl think.) -Rod Quote
eifion Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 How about the teflon spray that anglers use to coat the rings on their fishing rods? Quote

Apparently the cheeks of Aggers arse are silicon implants LMAO, I thought he had a look of pamela anderson from behind :D Quote
bigbadmonkey Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 YOU KNOW FUNNY THING HAPPED THE OTHER DAY. I BOUGHT A NEW PAIR OF REEBOK RUNING SHOES. AFTER A LITTLE LESS THAT A MONTH WITH THEM AND HARDLY USING THEM THE RUBBER SOLE STARTED PEELING OFF. WELL I PULLED OFF THE RUBBER PART AND IT CAME CLEAN OFF LEAVING THE ORIGINAL SPONGE LIKE PART ON THE SHOES. IF THE SPONGE GETS WET, IT IS MORE SLIPPY THAT PAMELA ANDERSONS STOMACH. AS AN ADDED BENEFIT, YOU CAN ALMOST WATER SKI ON SHALLOW WATERS. DIG IN YOUR OLD CLOSETS AND GIVE IT A TRY, YOU CAN ALSO USE THEM ON GRASS. LOADS OF FUN. Quote
bushflyer Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 take one long (20m) polythene sheet. lay on the ground and wet with a prepared solution of water and washing up liquid. flyers compete for fastest time on the runway or just do it for laughs. start sitting or kneeling. and its softer on grass. feeling brave? i wanna see some pics of this! i aint done it for ages!!! mw perhaps? mick Posted May 24, 2003 Report Posted May 24, 2003 Take one 20 mtre piece of poly. Wet it with your solution then get two or three scantily clad gals to wrestle on it. Alternatively use a couple of these kiter fellars. Not so good but it gives me more airspace to play in Quote
