I use the cheapo Halfords 2 cycle carrier on my People carrier, it carries my Libre Special no problem.

bad dad, As informative as ever I will be at Pendine in the not too distant future, work commitments are screwing up my social life big style at the moment. Nytrox, I was attempting what you suggested and tried to get the kite high, at max speed it was about 4 feet off the beach and when I tried to get some height I just seemed to get faster, and with the rocks fast approaching it was emergency action time. If I had more beach I could have persevered longer with getting the kite up high. Thanks to all who replied

Im a relative newbie to buggying but Im starting to get the basics together now. I was buggying on Friday with a 2.5 bullet ... was on a port reach when I steered a little more downwind and the speed of the buggy picked up enormously. I struggled to steer back upwind as the buggy was now being pulled sideways. By now i was heading for the end of the beach as fast as Ive ever travelled in a buggy. I didnt have a clue what to do, I was struggling to make the kite climb as everytime it moved it just got faster and faster..... I eventually ended up putting my feet down and crashing the kite ... what should I have done ?

Id have thought those strong wrists of yours could have easilly coped with a mere 30kgs Stonemonkey .... after all they get enough exercise

stack ? ... I thought stack meant more than one kite ? Dynamic Duo ..I think some of the blame has to be attributed to the tw@t that can see our bloke is flying a kite but still proceeds to walk under the lines .... OK if it happened to me Id have the kite up at the zenith and then would politely point out to the said tw@t the error of his ways Just a thought

family commitments prevent me from making Pendine as often as Id like ... Im in the Bridgend area, occasionally use Rest Bay at Porthcawl to board/buggy. But go to Pendine if you can ...... as previously said ... its heaven

Looking at the pic on coastguard kites web site ..... is there still room for adjusting line lengths on the leaders ? , as the leaders look very thick, or do theleader lines carry on past the thick sleeving into normal thickness ?

The low Cof G obviously helped, although I heard he had to keep moving his belly out the way to see where he was going LMFAO
