Landboard to carveboard

You'll need a lighter deck than a landboard, as andy666 said - more like a longboard deck. As for trucks, channel trucks from landboards would work, just take out the dampners from inside the springs. And set the adjustment to the inner most slot if they can adjust. Here is an old MBS landboard I did this to and added oversize skate wheels to.

@plummetthey're off the onda longboards. http://www.ondamotion.com can purchase wheels from a few suppliers here. had to play with getting different bearings to fit for channel trucks. but they'll go straight on normal skate trucks no probs.

My Trampa is for kite, and I'm experimenting with my Scrub, but some advice, when messing around feeling which bushings are best make sure no curbs  near by. I had an 'ouch' moment and spoilt my boarding for a week or so. Hit the curb,( going at a snail pace) , and bindings held me tight and went over twisting my ankle , I thought the bushings were soft enough to let me miss the curb, but no, they weren't . One of those 'look stupid' moments in slow motion, then trying to quickly, ..ouch, get up, looking around to see if anyone saw my embarrassing moment, then with a 'limp' limp, try to get into my van, then scream with foot in air holding tight to ankle. Ok, I'm a softeee, I'm just glad it isn't broke.

For a while I am sticking with bindings only when kiting, ( kite helps ease gravity) . Longboards with no bindings, is where I'm at, when not kiting. ?
