Blast
Small kites and experienced only me thinks! This a proper winter depression heading our way (if it stays as predicted) so will be big surf/strong winds but still warm water! <a href=http://i39.servimg.com/u/f39/13/31/75/40/10565010.png" />

waynekitesurfer
Sunday morning last weekend the waves at newborough were well over head high out by the point near the lighthouse, a long hack upwind meaning you are probably at least half a mile offshore, but you'll have plenty of room, also you can sail over the straits to Dinas Dinlle, another great wave spot rarely visited by kiters. kitesurfandy
thanks Wayne for that , if you got the Balls to venture out further than the shore, its a about 3/4 mile offshore big rollers , and breaking waves ,

Blast
Great day of lessons today...9's and 11m's used in warm sunshine It was beginning to ramp up a bit as we finished and then torrential rain on way home... The clouds were looking darker too. Gonna turn a tad wild tonight but looks like we should have strong winds with sunshine tomorrow pm
Blast
Cracking day here today lit on a 5m Bit shocked to see someone self launch a 12m in front of the rocks (rather than down at the waters edge a hundred metres away) only to find he was ever so slightly over powered...think sliding along on his arse. He soon realised a 12m was too much...everyone else was pumping 5-7m's

yorkshireboy
Good sesh at Watergate bay today. Nice to kite with some different conditions and scenery. Amazing backdrop surrounded by cliffs on both sides. Took quick snap with my iPhone after I finished up. https://m.flickr.com/photos/58521900@N07/14880230825/
StarKitesUK
Shit time this way over. Nasty gusty conditions and then is swang off shore. On the plus side I did rescue a puppy. That got stuck in the rip tide. One lucky puppy one happy old man. If they ever remake baywatch I'm going to be the new Hoff.

StarKitesUK
No mate, I only have eyes for Monty. At first I thought it was a seal, until I saw his panicing owner, At the river mouth the water is very fast and once your in it if you can not stand there is nothing you can do. Its a great spot to surf as the water is butter flat and it can add up to 4/5 knots if its wind against tide. Then when the river water meets the sea it gets very ruff. This poor little fella had entered there and was getting a real going over. Thankfully it was nipple deep so we could wade out to him. When he was picked up his little legs were still swimming A mate brought out his directional as we thought it might need to stand on that if it was a big dog. fortunaly for us it was just as puppy around 1 year old. So he was easy to pick up. His little heart was going like the clappers!
