iPhone 5 armband holder, bought on eBay, under $6.00 including delivery, plenty to choose from, but I got a non leather one with a wetsuit type material band. It's a tight fit, but for the visually challenged like me it can fit on your arm , or around the downtube of a buggy etc.

Yep, that'll do it too. cheaper as well huh :D

I would have liked to get one from popeye, he used to sell them, presume he still does, my problem is I can't read it from that far away without glasses, and I'm interested in chasing a bit of speed now, and I want instant feedback, so if I need another 1 kmhr I can hang on a bit longer etc.

How much are BCF charging for the mount?

I got mine here for $13.85, but you need to pay $13.95 shipping. Wasn't so much of an issue for me because I bought several and a gps at the same time.

$15 - they have ordered directly from Garmin Australia and I just need to go and pick it up from the store, should be there early next week.

The eTrex 10 was on special and was only $99 as well.

I really like the etrex 10. You can configure it to show whatever you want. I have mine set up to show max speed and current speed in larger panels, and time of day, total distance, moving average, and moving time in smaller panels. That covers everything I want to know.

Mine was free ;) based on popeye the welders

Me too. A great resource of material there.

I was forced to buy an upgrade from my old "H" to an Etrex 10, when Qantas trashed mine in transit home from Yeppoon.

I make my GPS holders out of "sign white colourbond .6mm thick" off cuts from my local sign writer.

The colourbond still has the protective plastic sheet over it in the photo.

On my template the pop rivet markings are to attach a bracket to mount it my Land yacht masts.

Leave a 5mm gap "cross hatched red pen" to attach it with 2 thin soft zip ties round your swan neck. (so they will break it you come out in an OBE taking it with you)

The colourbond is really flexible and easy to pry open to fit the GPS and the sides are quite a firm fit to grip it nicely.

A pair of Wiss snips and these can be made in 15 mins. Then the edges filed and wet and dry sanded, to remove any sharp edges.

Could be made out of any of the "heritage" colourbond colours as well. :)

Chook
