bakersdozen Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Sweet as George. Will have to have a go with my Contour GPS to track speed and mainly ELEVATION. We could then overlay that on the vids. Quote

nigel Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 Good to see you boys enjoying Elwood. I've moved a bit further away, Chelsea, so Bicentennial Park is my new stomping ground. But I'm going to have to visit some time when conditions are better. And I have some time. See you at Sandy Point for speed week. If not before then. Quote
Spartan Posted August 28, 2012 Author Report Posted August 28, 2012 Another day in paradise.... Lost the soundtrack after the first song Sorry Clive the song is only 3-4 min long and the vid goes on for 13min and I dont know how to add more music onto it yet. Good to see you boys enjoying Elwood. I've moved a bit further away, Chelsea, so Bicentennial Park is my new stomping ground. But I'm going to have to visit some time when conditions are better. And I have some time. See you at Sandy Point for speed week. If not before then. Hey Nigel, I actually mentioned to Joe on Sunday how I miss having every one turn up to Elwood for a fly and the good old chin wag afew years back. It would be good to see you and Joel back in action at Elwood, its lonely with out you guys... Quote

mr botangles Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 Hi Everyone, Mr botangles here or as you may or may not remember Paul and Janet . I was the the newbie at Sandy Point Speed Week with the unusual PL with suspension and the NasaStar 5.5 that the very patient Mr John Holgate and quite a few other new friends attempted to enlighten about the finer points of kite buggying. It's been a while since I enjoyed the weekend at Sandy Point Speed Week, and I thought I'd better let you know that although my progress as a buggyer is slow , I did take the advice of the seasoned experience surrounding me and have begun my journey again with a smaller Nasa Star 2 , 2.5 sq m . Got this little kite for Christmas from Janet and it's a delight to fly. Although my recent visit to Truganina was still a bit questionable I live in hope of joining you all again even if it is for a very rustic "botangles" version of our fabulous outdoor fun activity. By the way, mine was a not so lazy Tuesday and boy for a little kite , you guys were right ...plenty of grunt. Regards and thanks to all , Paul ( Mr botangles ) Quote
jhn.holgate Posted February 21, 2015 Report Posted February 21, 2015 Hi Paul, Glad to hear you're still getting out and about with the buggy. We'll be heading to Sandy next weekend - 27th Feb to Mar 1st or thereabouts depending on conditions. If you can make it down, that'd be great. Quote
