Well its been a while since i put feelers out about sand wheels thanks for all the info. I managed to pick up some secondhand wheels from mark in brissy along with a kite 5.5 airea raptor (not yet had the chance to try it out yet) what with work not much wind ect ect. So back to the buggy , with a set of wheels and a new seat from kite power (Peter lynn) it was time to put my limited buggy building skills to the test oh also shelled out cash for a pipe bender so with a week off work cos of knee op i spent some time in the shed doing what comes as second nature to me (welding and fabrication) As u can see from the pics its not finished yet front mudguard, seat rail protection, paint job ect but u can get the main feeling of the buggy . So any comments good and bad will be taken on board! thanks guyssandfly buggy no paint.zip

yeah, the padding is a definate, but since it's not painted it may still be coming. The foot pegs do look a bit high, but if your comfortable with them then that's the main thing.

The bigger thing that I noticed is that the bracing on the rear axle looks to be in the wrong place. The load is going to try and bend the axle up so the bracing should probably be on the top or bottom. As it is your axle may still be strong enough so just see how it goes.
