  1. just bought 4 mt beamer so no longer need this kite, im selling only the kite no lines or handles. the kite is in good condition for its age no rips ect gets some good speed up with the right wind! $ 75.00 including postage within aust.ph 0407685504 if more info is neededraptor kite pics.zip .00

  3. steel bolts are good if u will be dismantling it for transport as ss bolts will (ball up) and will need to br cut off with a grinder so ms bolts are the way to go ps nylock nuts are a must as well ok ss bolts are good (will not rust) as long as u use the right grade!

  5. ok wheels and tyres secondhand 130 bucks(sluggo) bris seat i think 120 (kite power ) paint job 110 local shop and of cos my time and labour!
  6. HI guys just got the buggy parts back from the powder coaters at last. So this is the end result. re foot pegs they work for me at this hight. the rear axel support bracing is just to set off the back end oh and the padding is from toys r,us total 6 bucks (swimming pool noddles!) Anyway all comments welcome hope to see lots of people at sandy point soon. ps might even try it out!!kite buggy sf.zip

  8. Well its been a while since i put feelers out about sand wheels thanks for all the info. I managed to pick up some secondhand wheels from mark in brissy along with a kite 5.5 airea raptor (not yet had the chance to try it out yet) what with work not much wind ect ect. So back to the buggy , with a set of wheels and a new seat from kite power (Peter lynn) it was time to put my limited buggy building skills to the test oh also shelled out cash for a pipe bender so with a week off work cos of knee op i spent some time in the shed doing what comes as second nature to me (welding and fabrication) As u can see from the pics its not finished yet front mudguard,seat rail protection,paint job ect but u can get the main feeling of the buggy .   12. ok guys thanks for all the input about sand wheels ill get onto it soon . also ill be at sandy point this cup weekend ect ps whats inveloch like for bugging? well i seemed to have stired the bugging building pot somewhat!!!
  13. hi all im new to kite bugging so all help is good. I am fabritacating my second buggy and need to buy some good wheels for using on the beach (hardish sand) i live in melb so local suppliers would be good but hey post works ok. any ideas thanks stephen. ps im a welder/ teacher.so fabrication comes real easy to me seen all the popeyethewelderman vids and all looks easy for me to do would like to get into building buggies for fun.
