Cheers Glen hi glen, im pretty sertain than there's going to be snow still on sat. the temp isn't going to rise above freezing between now and then so the snow should still be arround. roll on saturday !! You're welcome to use my board. You'll need to wear extra socks if your feet are smaller than size 11 so you can wear my snow board boots. and wear water proof trousers or ski/ snowboard trousers because you will spend a lot of time on your arse. Been down to eks today and the snow is not melting and is still soft/ powder. roll on the weekend!!!!!!! and they better be some wind or there's going to be trouble !! Quote
Glenbo Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Snow's still in good condition round here so should be good - wind is currently forecast as 14-15mph NNE and -2C - bet that's gonna feel pretty chilly. Good job I'm trying the face fungus on for size! : Should c u Saturday. Cheers Glen Quote
braddels Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 the Midlands are expecting some more snowfall this weekend i think, so sunday could be interesting for those of you who can make it to EKS. its a shame for me cos i have no board, skis or harness atm or i would make a trip up on saturday to test out my new bularoo cos i could use a big open space to try and fly it haha Quote
Tjah1087 Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 how deep is the snow at EKS? if you are going along on an edge (with a snowboard) do you dig into the ground? Quote
MadgeSkywalker Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 how deep is the snow at EKS? if you are going along on an edge (with a snowboard) do you dig into the ground? there must have been 8 or 9 inches of snow easily, didn't catch the ground with heel or toe edge, was really good! Quote
Tjah1087 Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 SICK, might try and hit taht tomorrow then. Quote
