blowmeharder Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 at least it'll make the final test exciting Exciting !!!!! Cricket !!!!!! I'd rather staple my sack to a porcupine !! than endure this cack Quote
Kiteboyza Posted August 7, 2009 Author Report Posted August 7, 2009 20/20 is the way forward, none of this cucmber sandwiches and 5 days of slow play Quote
kraftyone Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 Amen to that - gutted I'm missing finals days this year. I've yet to find a better excuse for 12 hours continuous drinking. 20/20 is the way forward, none of this cucmber sandwiches and 5 days of slow play Quote
anything Posted August 7, 2009 Report Posted August 7, 2009 20/20 is a good alternative, but for true cricket you need the ashes Quote
HeelsideJack Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 20/20 is the way forward, none of this cucmber sandwiches and 5 days of slow play 20/20....pah...it's the fairy floss. Tests are the meat and three veg. I can't recall a single 20/20 match, but I can remember every test from the 2005 Ashes series. This series is almost as good with its to-ing and fro-ing. Quote

PieGuy Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 Ok, So they have to throw the ball at the 3 sticks and knock the little stick off the top? Quote
Cyprino Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 Ok, So they have to throw the ball at the 3 sticks and knock the little stick off the top? Yep. Something the English don't seem to be very good at recently Quote

Something the English don't seem to be very good at recently Oh no, we're quite good at it. It's those unsporting Aussies that keep blocking our attempts with their bats. If you watch the English batters you will see the proper and polite way to continue the game Quote
