Zeeko 2011 KRUSH freestyle/wave kites in 3 sizes: 7,9 and 12m.

No pulleys(no sure yet), C shape style, with relaunching of a beginner kite, and a revolutionary bar with turnable depower line length during riding ...more to come!

It's more C shape, more boost, less bar pressure and little more quick but the Notus will have more hngtime. The Krush will be more suitable for unhook and freestyle. There also be a new bar with ERA (2) system. I looks very intresting. Quote from a respected Euro source.

A bit more info

The Krush kite is a versatile Freestyle-wave kite, suitable for kiteloops too!

It is not a replacement kite for the Notus but an additional range for those who want to perform in freestyle with a modern shape.

The kite has no pulleys a simple bridling device and is a C-shape style one (this is why we don't need pulleys on it).

The bar will be a new one too with a new feature on it (a trimmable depower line length) more details soon.

Ride easy,

nicolas

That adjustable depower throw is a very clever but incredibly simple idea.

It'd only work on a kite with above the bar depower... but still, kudos to Zeeko!

Agreed .... simple and functional (by the look of it)

I was just as impressed to see someone with a camera on their helmet that was able to keep the shot still !! :clapping:

What disappointed me about the video was to see that sick looking flat beach ...... and NO buggies :cray:

for sick flat water you should have been with us last Friday.

used a GPS to set runs for the windsurfing speed board in flat Sandy point type water 1.43 Nautical miles.

But if we didn't need a straight run we had about 2.5 NM.

28C air temp, 26C water temp. and NO crocs,Stingers or jelly fish. Just friendly Sharks.

Yeah, nice looking bar design! Wish there was some way to try here :(

Nico the Zeeko owner, is a course racer in Europe and pretty good at it with more than a few top 3 finishes

His big kite is the 14m Notus. raced in as low as 6kts.

last week in as low as 13kts my 12m Notus was still giving me 6-10ft of air under my board.

And we could arrange a demo in Japan. I need a holiday. :drinks:

Great video there Tony!

Not quite sure why they put all the lame oversheeted pivot kiteloops in the first 1/3 of the clip though.

After that they were pulling all sorts of awesome out of the bag.

I have always seen you, Koma as a soft landing spot.

And I'll take the "massive" more as Flattery than compliment.

It was more a case of the old flatter then backhand technique. ;)

Back on topic, that video was a great showcase of what you can do with great riders in great conditions, just having fun. :good:

It's not only great riders but add confidence in your equipment to that formula.

There is one standout feature of the Zeeko's and that is they inspire confidence. You feel comfortable with them very quickly and this gives you confidence to push a bit harder.

Take for example the spit of sand at the creek mouth on the west end of Altona Beach. I happily jump that with my Zeeko. I also happily jump in inches of water, because I know the kite will behave itself.

I also happily jump close to reefs in fiji to get the best possible water conditions, all because the kite inspires confidence.

The Krush shipment has arrived.

First look at bar. So simple and easy.

Bag color is a very brilliant dark blue looks way better than the green of the 2010 Notus.

Heading to Adelaide tomorrow and if wind and time permits, I might get first try of them around Henley beach.

Pricing hasn't changed (no real change in Euro V AUD).

The Notus model has continued with it's design criteria of the sizes 9 and below focusing on high wind performance, while the 10 and above are designed with low end power in mind.

Here is the first look at the 9m Notus, 3 struts.

the sizes I know for sure are 5.5m 7m 9m.

there has been no indication of change in sizing for the 10, 12, and 14m.

would love to read a report on the 2010 14m from an unbiased owner.
