waydo77 Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 who knows a good way to do some wakestyle/ freestyle training on windless days? I tried an old bar in the shed off a rafter but this dont cut it, im thinking using an old board on a trampoline or something? any ideas? pretty much something where you can do roatations handle passes and grabs aswell? something where the possiblility of injury is minimal preferably... cheers Quote
fav Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 you could maybe try wakeboarding or visit a cablepark. Havn't had the opportunity for either but reckon if wakestyle is your goal, they'd be your best bet. cheers Quote
koma Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 No wind means flat water so if you can convince a mate with a boat or jetski to take you out for a tow then try that. Supposedly the trampoline with a rope attached to one side is meant to be really good, but i've never tried it. Personally i prefer to just run through tricks in my head (and/or walk them through whilst watching kite videos in my living room), then just focus on physical training or cross training (downhill landboarding, etc). imjimbo Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 your half way there.. use a trampoline under a tree or similar with the bar tied to it.. Quote
