joe94 Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 do you have your own micro climate or something? Quote
tracker Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 Strange I was there from 12-2.30 and the wind must of gusted at 10mph max. On my 7.5m Element I got a speed of 10 mph. And thats on really fast trucks. Quote

KiteDeck Dan Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 give it a rest with this gin pimping will ya, every thread mention the dam things Quote
neilj37 Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I am slightly confused. You are new to the sport. You have only just got a kite on the 19th Jan. You do not know what a spreader bar is: But you can confidently board up and down the beach at in excess of 20mph (and apparently 60mph) & you are giving people advise on how to set up there boards in other threads. Damn you are a quick learner + you are already starting to annoy people, even Hornsea Fkyer wasn't that good !! Quote
wenglish Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 i think that would look good with a red seat and siderail covers, just to match the the front forks http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u34/wenglishstu/100_2211.jpg Quote
KiteDeck Dan Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 wats gone on there u in the rite thread dude ? confused Quote
Siimon Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 What's with the emoticon thing at the start/end of each post? Quote
sidmaniac Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Yes, it is irritating isn't it. Stangely, however nowhere near as irritating as your animated avatar. Quote
sidmaniac Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Strange I was there from 12-2.30 and the wind must of gusted at 10mph max. On my 7.5m Element I got a speed of 10 mph. And thats on really fast trucks. Dude, the kid was correct with the wind as measured on the beach at crosscanonby at 11am. And I really don't know what you mean by 'fast trucks', surely the wheels, tires and bearing are the key components, but hey, I'm not a landboarder meself. But all of you, the truth is this, the boy is just starting out and I have been trying to help him progress. He can't get upwind yet. He has been up here on his hols. I am very disappointed that he has chosen to post up on this forum in this manner across the disciplines. Its not funny now, for a number of reasons that i won't go into. He is young, but I am afraid, he has shown ill respect. Yoof of today...tsk! Quote
joe94 Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 kid was correct with the wind as measured on the beach at crosscanonby at 11am. Fair doos take back what i said just seemed odd as i have had no wind Quote
_Geordie_ Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 He is young, but I am afraid, he has shown ill respect. Yoof of today...tsk! Yep, he ain't even spelt Allonby right, now that IS a crime. Can't dis the windiest place in the North West, that just ain't on:eek: As for pimping Gin's, well can't say much about that.....you know where my brand loyalty lies..... Quote
