martin Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 What about those lines & handles AV? My kite has just left Paris:D. Quote
T595 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Well it's official, my knees are getting old and it hurts like hell to use the board. Kite surfing is an option but i might just switch to wheel chair (piss easy to fly one, no wonder so many other old buggers fly em ). Quote
Big Daddy Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Jeez, you finally seen the light then? Quote

avspider Posted July 14, 2009 Report Posted July 14, 2009 Sorry Martin, I only have a spare set of handles, not spare sets of lines at the moment. Quote
g0nz01599968659 Posted July 15, 2009 Author Report Posted July 15, 2009 LOL - Harley MTFU & get out on the water hehe I've had an EPIC couple of days on the water!! Huuuuuuuuge jumps & kite loops on the 7m :D love that lil kite. Quote
g0nz01599968659 Posted July 15, 2009 Author Report Posted July 15, 2009 Nah, Im working i think... b-sides they is camping on the already small flying site?! The wind is goooosty as fook there so I think I'll give it a miss cos it's way better at the beach. I know you lot will disagree, but I cant see why you'd bother to landboard if you could kitesurf?? I think there are more ksurfers at calshot on a good day than you'd see at LH in a year... its just more social & fun:) I dont want to dis land kiting, but there is a better alternative:rolleyes: Quote
avspider Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 I can see what your saying Dan, but each to their own. There are pro's & con's to land flying & flying on the wobbly wet stuff. Quote
MIn Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 Water don't exfoliate like some nice dry dirt does. Quote
g0nz01599968659 Posted July 17, 2009 Author Report Posted July 17, 2009 oooooh ouch hehe If you like that sort of thing kite loops will make u smile all I can say is that there's a lot less 'cons' to the wet stuff, but maybe its just me... Quote
g0nz01599968659 Posted July 18, 2009 Author Report Posted July 18, 2009 I have been stuck in the shop all day - Im off out paddle boarding! Quote

martin Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Was a real good weekend despite the lack of "Pro" riders. I spent the whole weekend on my 2m it was that windy. Done the tandem rides in Daves BIG yellow banana buggy pulling a Flexi. SOOOO comfy, i was surprised how much grip Big Foots have on the grass. I want one:cool:. I fell asleep on my own next to the fire, god knows waht time i stumbled to my tent. I'm off until Wednesday week, anyone out flying? Prob be out tomorrow evening with Steve, maybe PS or WS. Quote
avspider Posted July 20, 2009 Report Posted July 20, 2009 Bigfoots do nice grip on dry grass, slie nicely too. But just wait for whens a little wet/damp/boggy/dew, then the bigfoots suddenly loose all their appeal, as you can't even hold a line with a 2m kite in 5mph wind lol Quote
