Does look like it will be a low membership this year. No matter where everyone is going, i hope you have good winds and plenty of buggying. I`ve decided to stick with WSYC, closest decent beach to me and have met some really good mates whilst being in the club... Hope i aint going to be the only one there this year, otherwise it`ll get a tad lonely...

Its a real shame we will be loosing so many nice peeps who dont feel that they can join again this year :(

But that means all the more beach for those of us who are left :D :D :p

Just wondering as well how much of a difference it will make as all the leavers seem to racers, and how much time do they spend at Hoy on non race weekends as they are usually busy racing some place else ?

Plus they will all probably be showing there ugly mugs:D back again several times in various race series.

Anyway things will always change but im sure the club will survive and hopefully the membership will go back up again as everthing settles down.

Welcome aboard Karl hope you bring some decent wind with you.:)

Ged,, it wont make any difference to the club at all,, the club will certainly survive. Its survived for over 19 years now., so it must be doing something right in the way its run. .. As you said,, "things change",, .. And trust me,, once everyone has met Karl,, they`ll wish things went back a few years lol...

Thinking about joining the WSYC. Currently me and my wife and 14 year old son share 1 buggy. Any ideas how much the membership would be for the 3 of us.

Thanks

Nigel

Matter of interest. Is it a flexi buggy and do you car top it? Passed at Honda with buggy on it and family in it yesterday near Kelsall hill.

Yes that was us!

xc and windguru said 10mph dry and bright, never mentioned the sleet, snow and no wind!

By the way we don't all manage to get in the buggy at once. Maximum of 2 at any time!

Think we also saw you driving into Hoylake. Do you have a wide axle flexi with a blue belly pan?

We followed you into Hoylake but we turned towards the clubhouse.

Only if you are trained in the vehicle, and then a key holder is responsible for the vehicle. There are guidelines laid down for the usage of the clubs vehicles this year..

finally...and I would advise ALL members to paid heed to them.

J

We have set our WSYC FED insurance fee at £12-50 based on the likely number of WSYC members for 2009

PKA FED insurance fee of £15 is based on fewer members

As Scud says provided you are trained to use Mule then you can use it.

Note its not just a matter of driving it but how to maintain it and clean it etc.

That has always been the case.
