Hey, Sorry to gatecrash your thread. We live in Reading and are failing miserably to get out flying pretty much ever. Part of the problem is that we still haven't found a decent place to fly. There's a 420 minus a trailer in my garage which is a big upset to me, but can't get hold of a trailer for it (not made of money). Manage twice yearly weekends sailing dingies. Too useless at finding time for it otherwise. giggle. x

I did mine through a private person too, but I wouldn't have particularly recommended him - he took lots of phone calls from other students to book lessons because he didn't have an office to deal with those things, and I never had the same time slot each week. I would have been better with an agency.

Same thing happened to me almost all day Sunday, was beginning to think I'd offended everyone and they'd all blocked me.

My partner does the professional shows and I was sat sooooooo close last night - it was amazing! :D even got to wear a hard hat and ear defenders Sooooo good. But Im never getting any closer. Wont catch me qualifying to set them up or stand amongst them during the show. £16 grand in 20 mins though.... giggle. x (minus apostrophes - havent been on the forum for ages, is everyone having that problem or just me?!)

Congratulations! I'm rather glad our camping trip to the peak district last week didn't happen as the idea of getting married scares me rigid! :eek:

I know the feeling - a week ago I tried to book a campsite for the Peak District. I reckon I phoned every campsite in the area and no luck! you wouldn't have thought one car and a small tent could take up so much space. What really amazes me is that last year we went to the Isle of Wight, turned up at 10pm and found ourselves a half-empty campsite! Why is everyone else camping this year?!
