hey guys haven't posted in along time.So thought i would tell you all i am selling up my kites and boards have already gone two sold one nicked. Don't worry not giving the sport up forever. hopefully I will be earning more money next year to get myself new kit to come and join you all again either that or i got to go to a hot country where I can do it in boardies all the time

I will still take you out with stuarts kite topper because we are nice people. Wee Andy unfortunatly we can not stop people going to other shops to buy their stuff,even though we offer them all the advice and let them use our equipment. PKS is doing its customers good deals I have to admit but I also think it is bringing the industry down as smaller kite shops can not compete and so people will lose all their local support if we are not careful. But hey such is the harsh business world. Topper wee andy and myself are meeting in the shop at 11 and catching a bus. You can meet us there or meet us down at the power station.

was a bit crap yeasterday but it looks alot better today. So I am off to fly again brfore the rain comes this evening.

:(Aahh gutted You have to have done 300 jumps before attempting it. I was soooo looking forward to trying it! Guess the closest i will get is snow kiting on short lines.

unfortunatly you forgot I can edit geoff and shop computer has had a reinstall so you lose my login aahhh. Looks like the way the weather is going it will be no kitesurfing this winter to dam cold. But it is looking promising for some snow kite action

Just to let you know i managed to get nearly all the windthings team out for sunday annnddd there might be a BBC film crew coming too:eek: now just pray all that we have a good wind on sunday and iI will see you all then;)

I am Ross, Grant just wishes he was me:D this is face is for grant when you read this thread:p Right as for sunday grant is going to be up there aswell as myself and wee andy, stuart is to be confirmed. Tide times are high tide at 1-4 but you can still buggy or landboard on the grass area between the golf course and the beach guys.

Geoff and myself work in windthings at the weekend. It is on the grass market.Pop in on your way past if you want. Just been checking theres bugger all wind today:mad: but it looks like there might be an easterly tomorrow. So if there is, fancy meeting up in st andrews tomorrow people???? Sorry geoff we might be having fun with out you again. But you could always pull a sicky to come kitting;) with your new toy and greet some more southerners like myself. hehe

I would love to come out and play at the weekend but i am in work saturday and geoff is in on sunday:( Dam we need a non kite flyer to work in the shop on windy days only! as for place to go wee andy is right st andrews or dunbar in an easterly.cockenzie is no good in an easterly and i would not recommend holyrood as a good flying spot ever, it is not good because the wind either comes over the city or round arthurs seat and just causes gusty wind. Great if you ever want to go scudding

How about you turn a ground stake and intergrate it in to a grab handle. You can detach it to use:eek:???? I got a rough idea how it could be done but would need testing:rolleyes:.

a quick one to say congratz on getting a great spot open again and also a quick question. I am just down for a week and want too fly there so do I still have to buy a permit just to fly there for a week??

Thankyou for the infomation moof. unfortunatly Luton is quite a long travel for me too get to you and I don't have a car. I have found a nice big grass area in acton in west London. Gunnersbury park:D has lots of room for quite a few kiters and no kiting ban that I know of. So anyone wanting too come and join me I shall be there today til there is no more wind or day light:p

Right I am stuck at work and it is blowing a good 15mph aaarrrgh! want to go flying!! I am going to cockenzie after work providing the wind stays if anyone want s too come.

Oh man did you guys miss an awsome session last night!! I was flying al james P2 13m in 20mph winds on land:eek: I have never riden as overpowered on land as I was last night. I just wish i had pictures to show how mental it was.landed my first board grab 720 too:D
