b4 I continue...
*what follows is my opinion, to my knowledge, at the time of typing only and may be subject to light to considerably heavy criticism/discussion/change/convincement of otherwise etc.*
Anyway...
I think like any hobby you are going to be doing for a while and wanting to enjoy you should deffo invest in not only the right Kite+board+helmet but yes clothes too!
I just got me some snoboard pants from billabong, a jumper + skijacket from quicksilver and some (i must say BRILLIANT) boarding shoes (trainers) from rip curl.
Ok, I spent about 150 spondooeys but hey, I can't see any1 else on the beach:
a.) boarding in an out of the sea, getting soaked, (pretty much swimming (in these cold waters)) and luvin it!
b.) never gettin cold at all - not a bit! Even when soaked!
c.) lookin that cool cause we all know how cool these 3 makes are (and others which i won't list here though (cause it could go on 4 a while (not boasting I'm cool just luv the gear!)))
d.) not needing pads cause the pants r so thick they're protection themselves (thats not to say don't wear pads (b4 any1 says anything!))
e.) I wear the same gear to work it's so comfortable and with the cold creeping in as winter descends upon us I reckon it's a seriously good investment!
f.) for final - I wouldn't recommend it 4 beginners but if intermediate/profi (which again I'm not boasting I am) then u shouldn't be hitting the dirt too often and anyway hopefully not too hard to be ripping them nice clothes to shreds!
I'm sure most snowboarders will agree too!
My Motto: save where it matters least but invest in your hobbies! You'll get more Joy - seriously!
